I bought quite few sequin pieces at Zara and M&S ...definitely they 've become so much more affordable in the last few years. I love to pair it with casual pieces.
Since following you on youtube, have started collecting vintage and new sequin pieces. Now have sequin Ts in several colors plus a few blazers/jackets. This summer bought a silver sequin zara slip dress, which is amazing. I too like to wear them during the day when I need a “lift”. So thanks for making sequins a “wear anytime” thing!!!
Love, love, love the little Zara top over the white shirt with the white coat for a layered look with a bit of sparkle. That tone-on-tone look is so luxe and sophisticated, and the sequins make it look vintage-y AND modern at the same time.

I think you wear sequins so well as they suit your skin tone and bubbly personality and job environment. I cannot see a more introverted or corporate person wearing sequins well and/or with confidence .
I could die in that closet and I'd be so happy. That's my heaven. I absolutely love sequin. I where it all the time and it actually does help give u a lil confidence that I never usually have. I very much recommend more people try wearing it even if it's a lil uncomfortable at first I promise it's worth it and you'll probably be surprised how many compliments you get cuz everyone loves a lil sparkle

I have a navy high neck sequinned top which I got from & Other Stories which I’ve worn multiple times with indigo jeans or a navy satin bias cut skirt. Luckily, it was lined & felt soft underneath. When buying sequinned tops, you do have to be careful that they’re not scratchy on you or else wear something underneath.
Those are amazing blue jeans! I only have one sequinned top and, it's true, I've never worn it. I'm going to look at it anew and see if I can dress it down.

Your style is impeccable Trinny. But, I wish you would do more non-fast fashion finds. Many of us will not buy from Zara or H&M simply because we promote fair wages, safe work environments for women, and socially responsible supply chains. I would love to hear more about your favorite Haute Couture pieces! I am enjoying collecting Alexander McQueen right now from wonderful stores in France and America - second hand but many still with price tags and barely worn. I would also love to hear about your favorite aspirational pieces. For example, when you were just starting out in your career and you thought "one day, as a reward for working hard and achieving my goals, I will get X" and how it felt to finally obtain that piece of clothing, object jewelry, purse etc.
