TULIP PLANTING 🌷 in January isn’t too late

I’m hoping I can use these tulips that I planted earlier and these now for some spring bouquets.Lets hope the chipmunks leave them alone 😉

Did the bulbs come up and bloom?

They came up beautifully. They were later than the others but that was probably because they were later varieties. I do remember them lasting a long time. I just planted some more last week in the same general area.

I did the same in January, growing lile crazy, put bone meal for the boost it works

That didn’t look like very good soil. No amendments?

Using the spading fork made it look like that. I was just too lazy to look for the shovel. The soil is well draining and pretty rich
