not really sure what you mean settings or presets for amp settings cant really be used for a gig especialy verbs eq and delay presets since it changes drasticaly from room to room but for basics 100 watts precence off clean amp (fender) everything else at 12 o clock and drive off delay and verb between 8 and 9 o clock
@@DouglasBWelch wouldn't really matter in my case presets still don't work. So many factors involved tempature how many people. Also who's playing drums and their volume and also other musicians and such
Great playing! The tele sounds great even though you said it had cheap pickups in it. And the Boss Katana 100 is holding it’s own. I use a Boss Katana 50 and either the 50 or the 100 can rock with a heavy acoustic drum set. Boss got it right!
yeah, that does sound great. nice clean tone. I was going to get a 50, but a 100 makes more sense. I have a vox ac15 and a peavey vypyr100 for stereo sound, but finally sick of the peavey, lol. this sounds great and will clean up the murky sound the peavey delivers. keep rockin
don't remember, generally, amp set to clean, gain at about 12 o'clock , level at around the same, bass and mid at 1 o'clock and treble at 10 o'clock ish, presence off,100watts and master usually at 12 o'clock or up or down depending on the gig, I think I was using a exotic sp compressor on that gig too. ,low setting and knobs at 1 o/clock. the one o'clock thing is basically just a coinsidence.
Excellent playing and nice tone! Can you tell me what model tele you’re playing and what pickups are in it? And you mentioned in another comment that you’re using the SP compressor, is that the only pedal you’re using on this? Thanks for any info you can share.
Do you have it on the 50w setting, or just dialed down on the full 100w setting? Do you turn it way up and use the volume knob on the guitar for your setting? I realize it varies from room to room, and is always situational... It sounds real good man. You are a really good player.
I think I just found the most American video on TH-cam...that's a good thing! Great playing, love the sound of the tele.
This guy is awesome player...shows you there are so many great players out there you never heard of.
great playing and tone. how about throwing us a bone and sharing your settings as a Katana liveset?

@@mikebourque2507 thanks. There is a phone app Katana librarian that facilitates at venue preset tweaking. Cheers

@@mikebourque2507 - Exactly, you are obviously a seasoned pro with a good ear. Atmosphere is constantly changing during the gig and from room to room.
Amazing guitar player very professional!!

Great pickers like this all over Nashville. Head to 5 Points if you wanna hear some great music. I avoid lower Broad and the tourist traps like this.
Man, I wish I could play like that.
Transcribing this right away. Killer playing Mike. Hope to meet you in Nashville soon!
Researching the Katana. Sounds GREAT! Then again, KILLER guitar player. Wow. Why is everyone better than me. Great stuff dude......
This guy has a real nice touch, lots of interesting notes in there....
Wow, great playing Mike, and great tone. Bought a 50 watt Katana, had it for 3 days took it back, and got the 100. Great amp
Excellent picking Mike! You are getting a nice tone out of the Katana amp.

Nice playing and tone! Are you happy with Katana? Was looking at it primarily for its convenience and tone
i still use it i mean i have a bunch of vintage fender amps i use as well but for downtown nashville and some road gigs Its perfect
Good lord, you’re an awesome player! Do you use the Katana on pedal steel too?
I will buy a Katana amp!
