Agree with Brian, Resolve has a steeper learning curve and it was crashing my computer. Have switched over to CapCut. I'd love to see a tutorial on color grading. Thanks Russ.

I counted 2 "rivers". And what I find more problematic is getting enough variety in my shots. I need to remember to get more b-roll and second angles to make stuff interesting.

Fantastic video. I really liked how you covered just a couple of video ideas and did not overwhelm with info. I agree with others who commented that a complete tutorial would be beneficial for us newbies. So many times presenters assume everyone knows how to dive right in and start. Please assume we know nothing,which many don’t, and give the info in baby steps. Continue with your tutorials and thank you.

I'm moderately knowledgeable with more advanced editing software but I don't have the time to dive in to a complex timeline so this could help simplify the process and get more videos out quicker. One of my biggest challenges is creating the story of the video. Keeping your clips in a good order to progress rather than just showing the same object/place over and over from a different angle.

Great info...thanks. More on Keyframes would be a big help. I have tried several video editing programs and indeed this one seems to be the easiest to get started on. All the crazy overlays and transitions seem childish but maybe that's just me.😁😁
