There is no doubt in my mind that Barbie continues to be the most outstanding of all fashion dolls. I received my first Barbie when I was 10 in 1960. I just purchased 2 Barbie Extra dolls for Christmas. Glad your video popped up on my home page. Happy Holidays!

I grew up like almost everyday I would played with barbie and make clothing for her out of scrap fabrics . 30 yrs later I didn't realized how much of barbie influences me on the way I choose my styles of hair, makeup , the way I dress from head to toe when I go out or in photoshoot ... Doesn't matters how old I am I always have that girlie fun side of me

You guys have to remember . In the 80s and 90s Europe got all the amazing playsets and dollhouses that the u.s.a never got !
Literally 100s of playsets !!!
We never saw in the u.s.a.
And not small ones . You got huge mega sets !!! Too many to catalog !
Back in 92 i was a big barbie collector with over sea friends and he send me the catalogs he got with his dolls .
Stuff that will never see the light of the internet .
Not everything survived the 80s and 90s . But what a treat to know iv seen playsets 99 percent of people in the u.s.a never even got to see or ever will .

The real place you may want to look is the small posters that came with dolls and fashions. Old barbie magazines from euro on ebay mabey ? And the 90s usa comics had ads . Mabey yours did too from the 90s.
The usa playset has been very cataloged but euro sets have not been . Sadly . They were very nice and the details !

I LOVE the Aphrodite face sculpt. I own the Faraway Forest doll and she's definitely one of the most beautiful dolls in my collection. But the red-haired girl is just STUNNING. I think she's the most beautiful doll Mattel has released in a very, very long time.

What a magical video this is 🙂Wow they are all Stunning I specially also like the tanned girl she is very pretty, I came across a couple of them on the Uk Amazon site and now always look at the American site also, as you mentioned we in Europe don't always get the dolls that are exclusive in America or the price, Barbie Looks dolls here are still expensive (only now I'm seeing the native Ken doll) as are the Cutie Reveal dolls and Barbie Extra. The Looks you did are amazing!!!! you find the cutest things like that white hat, thank you for always including the MTM body matches really helps, I have been trying to match a 90's doll that I want to bring back to life with a reroot and a MTM body, want an original body and the best match is the curvy body and I even bought a Peach MTM girl (scalped I know) that I thought would match her but didn't, still not giving up! I will get my MTM 90's girl! lol she might math the Latina Barbie Looks girl, or the soccer player I have her MIB and don;t want to risk opening her in case she's not a match. You also got me hooked on the Knee high socks I made a couple of pairs also. I really want to buy the redhead one and have her trade dresses with the Evening Flame Barbie from 1991. It has such a nice quality dress probably my favorite of the big puffy dresses from the 90s. No added stuff just a shawl that can easily be taken off. Really glad I took her out of box recently. Also if any one wants that holiday repro with the red dress advent calender I saw her at Target for $150.

I love these looks there fab i don’t know if you know but I was doing some restyling on some of my ladies and I really needed some shoes and I found that LOL shoes actually fit barbie made to move and they look great for an edgy look

I guess it depends on what look your trying to create I use some rainbow high clothes for my barbie MTM and of corse the shoes don’t fit but the lol shoes do go well with some of the fashions 💁
Thank you! The trick of grabbing one piece of hair from the back to secure the side hair pieces was what I was missing. I redid my dolls to make them neater. cool! Edited to add: I got my red haired Holiday Barbie for Christmas. I love her.

I missed the first time around, when it ended up costing ninety dollars. But just last week I saw it came back for thirty five, so I jumped right on it !
