The chief are offering 5000 acres which should be able to build 15 times of the project in Rwanda. Unfortunately, how they're giving out the land wouldn't maximize the land use, as they said 1 acre is made up 5 plots and each person get a plot. If you put everything together, then you'll get 25000 plots being given out for free. Gloria O'Keiffe this is a very good suggestion, talk to the chief I think he is well educated and level headed, to contact the lands commission to waive off whatever charges they may take so that this money can be used for the basic infrastructure in the area. The land belongs to the Chief and his people and not the government, and this gesture is a personal offer by the Chief and his people and not from the government. The government can also assist by waiving off any charges that may come along with the registration process.

Of course he knows the history of how many of our people sold their own people to slave traders from Europe. In Ghana the government respects chiefs and this one Omanhene Amenfi VII is a paramount chief and his word is final so trust that it is not a lie. Well, this gentleman is explaining whatever extras there are so for us to avoid all the mumbo jumbo like tricky contracts that we may not understand, there's a $700 cost to take care of all of that and the land will be free.

I heard the chief who offered the land speaking compassionately ABOUT African Americans/diasporans in another video - he has travelled to America. Of course he knows the history of how many of our people sold their own people to slave traders from Europe. He said he was thinking about the year of return 2019 initiative by Ghana and wondered what would they do when they come, where will they live? And felt compelled to offer the land. In Ghana the government respects chiefs and this one Omanhene Amenfi VII is a paramount chief and his word is final so trust that it is not a lie. He had already offered land for industrial purposes before this 5000 Acres for residential.
