Faye, you are absolutely brilliant at this stuff and a totally over-the-top inspiration! As a rabid pre-loved shopper myself, I truly appreciate your work. We could swap stories for hours. Please do more videos on deconstructing specific designers and shopping for the look. This is your particular and unique niche. You go girl. Your creativity and passion give me joy!
W♻W thank you! Really glad you enjoyed the BTS vibes, so more videos about designers like Thom Browne and Margiela who employ a 'deconstruct to reconstruct' aesthetic you ,mean? x
Thank you Jet! I'm glad it resonated - there really is so much we can do with what's already in existence, in fact i think it elevates our sustainable style from the masses and makes us way cooler and unique! 💚💫♻
Look at all your hard work paying off in beautiful way by inspiring people to shop second hand. As a seasoned thrifter myself, some of my most loved and used pieces are from Goodwill. If I can give it the time I can find all kinds of great buys. In fact, thrifting is one of my favorite hobbies. The hubs already knows when we go to a new town, Momma wants to take a peek at their local thrift shops/Goodwills. One cool find I found in an affluent neighborhood a few years back, is a Tiffany & Co crystal tea light holder. Got it for $3!! It sparkles and shines prettier than any other candle holder I own. I just adore it for its beauty but mostly for the ‘treasure after the hunt’ feeling everytime I light it up. ❤
Aww that's so lovely of you to say, thank you for noticing! I've found some incredible things at Goodwill in NYC - where are you based? Hahaha yes my hubs knows too! Wow that Tiffanys find sounds amazing xx
I'm so inspired Faye, you had me gripped from start to finish. A really important message on over-consumption but done in a way that is beautiful and clever, and will everywhere. Some serious opshopulence! You should auction off the corset or keep it for future fashion fun ❤
Oh thats wonderful to hear it was so watchable! There's a lot in this vid but honestly it's how intense my job can be - in the most beautifully chaotic way! Thought it might be interesting to share. Definitely hanging on to the corset for more opshopulence adventures in the future! x
