I bet those stitch tacks didn't penetrate enough and i guarantee that second pass did no good whatsoever. Its not supposed to work like caulking a joint. Its welding... actually joining peices together by melting them evenly as deep as possible so that it's as close to one peice as possible. Not just some crap stuck mostly on the top...even if it looks '"good" to you... it's not.
@@GolfSux what weld process did you use? If you used stick welding please say you didn't use this blokes spot weld technique. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 And you can't weld body panels with stick welding. Well ya could reweld the factory spot welds if ya careful. But MIG is the best do everything weld process. It Welds allmost all steels and aluminium.

Are you posting any videos or photos of your car on line? I am a fully qualified metal fabrication engineer of 30yrs and I could give you some pointers if ya interested. Using a jig is good so I think you may be ok. Enjoy the car mate.
@@RandomRants525 bro i bolted the bodie panels on u dont weld bodie to the frame......i welded the frame, moter mounts, and supenshion with a arc welder that uses rods....i used the tecniqe he uses in his videos
There's some sort of epidemic, tackers everywhere. Just spark and keep that arc running. If the material is too thin weld in direct polarity. Never pause, direct your rod (heat) to the thickest or longer material and just let the puddle do the rest to catch the other part so you don't end up putting a hole in it.

Using direct polarity you can weld thin materials easier because the rod doesn't heat so much and you don't end up melting your part.
@@gilmarlandim9267an amateur can tell you that weld is garbage strictly because of his tacking the joint closed first. Trapped slag and shit all inside the weld and base metal. Whatever happens after that is still garbage because he didnt fix the first mistake he made, just covered it up

True, but you wouldn't be getting better monetizing results. People always get comments when something is bad, but nearly as many comments when something is good. This is how you play the game. It's not about the quality of the weld, it's about getting people to interact.

Your final "pass" did nothing and finishing my inspection class I can tell at least 3 surface faults with the bad camera and quick cut off end, and I don't even want to see what lack of fusion you have. А то на моем аппарате горячего старта нету, а токопроводящая подмазка на торце электрода, которая должна помочь зажечь электрод, не справляется с задачей. Пшикнет раз и всё. И нет её. А дуга так и не успела загореться. Пока обхожусь металлическим порошком из-под заточного станка. Сыплю щепотку в начало стыка и сую электрод в неё. В большинстве случаев, дуга нормально загорается. Но такую подсыпку не везде можно применить.
