You have just witnessed perhaps the finest soprano singer on the planet(in my opinion). She is a mere 12 years old at this performance When I first started listening to Amira I would always have a box of Kleenex handy, but recently I gave up on the Kleenex and now use a bath towel instead. There are many more performances that will also blow you away. May I suggest O sole mio duet with Patrizio Buannne. She is also 12yo is this performance, Enjoy your journey into the world of Amira.

I’m so glad that you want to react to more of her performances, as myself & literally “ millions” of her fans/supporters cannot get enough of this beautiful young super talented Soprano, who, in many opinions, will become the best a Soprano of all time. For a 12 year old( not 14) to possess the qualities of a seasoned performer is absolutely incredible. Amira not only has a powerful voice with exceptional range, she she has perfect voice control & a vibrato so beautiful which normally can take years to perfect. Just noticed in your video at the end showing other video's is on with Amira on the ground. It was when she made through the next round. and dropped to the ground. Feet and arms up and tongue. I believe like a shocked goat. It was hilarious. She was 9 years and wiped the the others with with over 50% of the votes, when it was all done. You got onto the wagon late. Amira now 16, now resides in Potchefstroom, South Africa and is still a school-girl. You should hear her "Caruso" casually performed in a music shop while buying a piano. No fancy dress or make-up. Just a teenager in t-shirt and denim . But what a performance!!!!

Nice reaction! Amira was 12 and a half then, in November 2016; and she's singing Italian lyrics here. It was a wonderful, astounding performance - one of many she's done! Amira seems to thrive with the big occasion - this was singing in front of 8000 people at a series of concerts in South Africa.
At the ripe old age of 10 she performed O mio babbino caro with the world famous Andre Reiu and his Strauss orchestra...and it moved many in his huge audience to tears.....and is probably among the best performances of that operatic masterpiece that has ever been done

My favourite song she did is Gabriellas song, it's a Swedish song but it's beautiful. My favourite singers in the Netherlands are Floor, Amira and Glennis Grace. But we're very lucky to have so many great singers in our country.

Amira is amazing. When she won that Dutch talent contest at age 9, she also told the judges & the audience that she taught herself sing opera just by watching TH-cam videos, which is just unbelievable, yet true.

The music is by the great maestro Ennio Morricone, it was originally titled "Gabriel's Oboe " and is from the sound track of the movie "The Mission" (1986). Two sets of lyrics have been written. The first was "Nella Fantasia" in Italian by Chiara Ferrau in 1998. The second is "Whispers In A Dream" with lyrics in English written by the New Zealand soprano Hayley Westenra in 2012, as a hymn for World peace. Both sets of lyrics were written with Morricone's permission (he produced Hayley's album "Paradiso" which contains her version). Check out Hayley Westenra another outstanding talent ( Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu" from a concert in Auckland in 2002 when Hayley was 15. One of the purest voices you will ever hear).

I presume the implication is that this is the fantasy of the missionary which provokes enormous irony. Europeans generally regarded indigenous peoples to be “savages” in need of “salvation.” So the fantasy is presumably about a world of European culture and superstition, rather than of any sort of diversity or inclusion.

It is the most incredible live performance by a child singer ever recorded. A "surprise" performance in front of 10 to 20,000 people outdoors. She received and explosive standing ovation with many in the audience in tears. Make sure you select the video from Andre Rieus' own channel. It has over 44 million views on you tube and is the only one with high quality sound. All the rest are poor quality sound recorded on cell phones from the audience. Keep a box ot tissues handy. You will swear its an adult trained singer and not a real,y tiny young girl singing better then most adult performers live.

When her family lived in Holland, the child labor laws were very strict, and she was severely limited in how often she could sing, and how much. After they immigrated to South Africa, she sang more often, because laws were a little less strict. But she sang with a children's choir, as lead singer, and the children being her chorus. Those performances were simple, and mostly recorded by cellphones. But they are all still wonderful, and I can flatly guarantee you that the children at that school will never forget the experience of singing with her.

Two of her earliest performance's are of oh mio babbino Caro. First is the Hollands got talent debut, second with Andre Rieu in concert at Maastricht. Both will blow your socks off. Her Nessun Dorma on HGT is breathtaking too.
Amira is amazing. When she won that Dutch talent contest at age 9, she also told the judges & the audience that she taught herself sing opera just by watching TH-cam videos, which is just unbelievable, yet true.

The music is by the great maestro Ennio Morricone, it was originally titled "Gabriel's Oboe " and is from the sound track of the movie "The Mission" (1986). Two sets of lyrics have been written. The first was "Nella Fantasia" in Italian by Chiara Ferrau in 1998. The second is "Whispers In A Dream" with lyrics in English written by the New Zealand soprano Hayley Westenra in 2012, as a hymn for World peace. Both sets of lyrics were written with Morricone's permission (he produced Hayley's album "Paradiso" which contains her version). Check out Hayley Westenra another outstanding talent ( Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu" from a concert in Auckland in 2002 when Hayley was 15. One of the purest voices you will ever hear).

It is the most incredible live performance by a child singer ever recorded. A "surprise" performance in front of 10 to 20,000 people outdoors. She received and explosive standing ovation with many in the audience in tears.
Make sure you select the video from Andre Rieus' own channel. It has over 44 million views on you tube and is the only one with high quality sound. All the rest are poor quality sound recorded on cell phones from the audience. Keep a box ot tissues handy. You will swear its an adult trained singer and not a real,y tiny young girl singing better then most adult performers live.

When her family lived in Holland, the child labor laws were very strict, and she was severely limited in how often she could sing, and how much. After they immigrated to South Africa, she sang more often, because laws were a little less strict. But she sang with a children's choir, as lead singer, and the children being her chorus. Those performances were simple, and mostly recorded by cellphones. But they are all still wonderful, and I can flatly guarantee you that the children at that school will never forget the experience of singing with her.
Check out her Hollands Got Talent performances. This is real good, but at 9 simply incredible. O Mio Babbino Caro, learned to sing listening to TH-cam. Claims no training at all. It's got over 40 million views. React to it, you won't be sorry.
