When i first heard this song in JS&B years ago, I didn't even know what Lycanthopy was, looking back at the ost, I got interested by the name. Recognised the music instantly as soon as I heard it.

When you think of it that way, the name "Lycanthropy" kinda works here as the cactus bois were transformed into the big pink circle's minions. The boss here, or the Lycanthrope as you put it, is the part I don't know about in terms of what it represents, but I reckon it might be some sort of king or queen, either hand-crafted by the circle or having gone through the same transformation. (The first one might be possible - where did the pyramid boss come from?)
