On that third knife I DID take it apart and fix it, it took a lot of grinding to get the lock freed up from the underside of the flipper tab channel. Polishing the top of that channel while you're there is a must. Otherwise it's like closing a handful of gravel the way it grinds against the lock bar. I WOULD HAVE made videos on the fix, but the 20 minutes if disassembly and another 20 minutes-ish on reassembly while it FOUGHT made for a bad video after I viewed it planning to upload. It works GREAT now, but the only value from the effort was learning something about how my knives work.
WM and OT knocked it out of the park this season (late 2023). I have all the knives shown in this vid. No complaints about any of them. The black handle Axis-flipper is the most problematic out of the bunch. I bought two of them. The blade stock is poorly made where the axis bar slides, so its really rough opening/closing. I took mine apart and polished the bearing surface with gray and green compound and its smooth now. About 10~15 minutes of DIY, (I am already familiar with axis locks and omega springs). Despite the extra work, its still well worth the $5.
I only bought the one you mentioned had lock stick. I should have picked up the good one haha. Mine hardly will open or close without a decent amount of force. I took it apart just for fun, but it didn’t help.

I don't have a need for $5 knives, but I would recommend Ozark trails $5 polarized sunglasses from Wally World. They are in the fishing aisle. I own a few pairs as back ups or for watersports where I don't care about losing them. Honestly, they look good and are actually polarized. Did I mention $5?
If that's all someone has to spend on a knife or sunglasses, Ozark trail isn't bad. Or if you're traveling and , God forbid, you forget to bring a knife. They are cheap enough that they are disposable.

I kinda liked it better than the bugout. I mean ...we know the steel isn't as premium but the handke felt much sturdier in my hand
Lol the steel is the worst you can get. 3cr but it's good for 5 bucks.
Sorry for being a knife snob but think I’ll hold onto my $5 however I do like the Swisstech knives being sold at Walmart
