Join us as we ride another amazing motorcycle ride.
The North Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee area have some of the best motorcycle riding in the country. This is no exception...We loved it so much, we rode it twice.

It was Viper...and no bad drivers lol.
It's an awesome stretch of asphalt. The uphill passing lanes are great. You do need to be vigilant, however. A number of the curves have the potential to bite hard. Watch out for law enforcement, also.

Very enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing. I've loved US19/129 since the first time that I rode it nearly 40 years ago. There are so many great roads in the area. I have a number of them that are personal favorites. But this road is still my all-time favorite. I prefer running it northbound if I have a choice. But that's just me. GA Hwy 17/75 to the east of 19/129 is much the same.

Yeah, well you've been to Banff & Lake Louse already so you know what my backyard looks like.! ;-) I think You Two should start a Motorcycle Touring Company. Where Riders pay to join you both on a trip. You do all the planning and give them the best possible experence, based on your experence.

That’s the road I lowsided my bike on and slid off the cliff and broke 38 bones, and paralyzed from the arms down. At the 3:20 mark is where it happened.

Great video and an awesome Mountain Road. I rode it a few times when I was camping up there this last year! I also had the whole place to myself the first two days. Unfortunately I was there during the week so the restaurant was not open.
Hey Robert...Yeah we saw your post on FB. We arrived on a Wednesday and left Saturday. Everybody came in on Friday, even non riders, just to hang out and eat. All the roads in that area were great.
What a great road! I love these mountain twistys!! Two Wheels of Suches is a favorite of mine!! What an epic trip you two were able to do!!
Hey Patrick, yes we agree the twisties are amazing. Kake is still talking about those roads, I think she's hooked on the tri-states. We will camp at Two Wheels of Suches again. Epic is right we really enjoyed it.

You want some nice rides come visit the Black Hills of South Dakota!!! Iron Mountain Road, Needles Highway, SpearfishCanyon, Nemo Road, Boulder Canyon, Vannocker Canyon, and many campgrounds to stay at. Don’t forget Sturgis Rally.
Thank Jane...We've been in that area several times and LOOOOOve the roads. We have never ridden Nemo Road, Boulder Canyon, Vannocker Canyon roads. So we have a reason to return.
We have aslo camped at several free campgrounds there. Thank you very much, hopefully we can make back this year.

Loved Blood Mountain... Rode back in June... If you ever go back, don't take a side road that says it leads to a waterfall... Nothing but rocks and potholes... Big ones!! 😅
WOW Jody, we almost went down that road the first time we rode it two days prior to this video. Thanks for the heads up, we are waterfall freaks.

That's got to be Helton Creek Falls. I haven't been back there in a number of years. Lots of ground clearance and 4WD help on that.

@@PurpleOnThree It definitely is. Mrs & I recently bought a cabin just north of the state line in NC. Helton Creek is only 20 miles or so from us. I need to go back. It actually consists of two waterfalls. My 2WD F-150 has no problem with the road (but I wouldn't want to try it after rain). There are a number of very pretty waterfalls in the area.

Good question! This was recorded during our summer cross country Bikecation. We are home in California, the videos from that trip are just coming out.

Yeah Craig, its a fantastic road. We rode it tow days prior w/o the trailer, we love it so much we had to ride it again. The cookbook will be out soon. Just waiting for the publisher to return my call. LOL.

I am always so jealous when I see the long trips, you guys do such a great job on your videos. How much do you think about "patches" when you're going down the road? Do you ride much slower towing?
Hey Kev, I am definitely aware its back there. Took some adjustments to my riding style but I've gotten used to it. I do ride slower especially riding uphill. On flat freeways, I still ride at a high speeds, it just burns fuel faster. So now I monitor my fuel more often.
I own some property up there.
