@@Errol.C-nz what do you mean by "Music Sound Track overlay"? Do you mean Why I added music to the video? Or does something is technically wrong? In video 2 I missed to do the voice over on stero Sound. Try to compare with part 3.
There are a few really nice videos about ADV bike riding and Trekking in Georgia on YT from 2021/22. So I guess it will be more pupular in 2023 season... Greeting, Stefan.
Servus! i like how you've chosen your setup! mid size offroad capable adv bikes, soft luggage, packed well and light weight. and skilled drivers! thats how it should be. so many completely overloaded GS videos out there with drivers unable to cope with their bikes.
Hi Mike, GS-riders are much more brave than I am. I never would tackle that kind of terrain on a fully overloaded ADV bike. I guess that's the reason the 1250 GS has an automatic emergency call 😉
@@BurningFeetAdventures yeah that might be true 😂! no offence to riders who like their big heavy adv bikes but so often you see that skills are not matching the weight. as it would be for me. that's why i like your kind of setup where one can have fun even with lower skills (again, like myself).
Hi Antoine, the world is a village ;-) I just checked your channel and watched your video. Sad you had a flat but it was interesting to see the same road 1 day later from a different perspective. I also remenbered your "water bottle" hack when I saw it in the video ;-) What chin mounting system do you use for your Nexx x.weed helmet? Greetings from Germany, Stefan.
@@BurningFeetAdventures Yes the rain made it a bit tricky on my way back 😂. I use the Dango design gripper mount on my Nexx helmet. It works very well 👍. Ride safe ✌

Thanks for sharing this love seeing other parts of the world . Some parts look like here in British Columbia Canada . You guys sure know how to ride back roads great great vid !!!!
georgian insane drivers drink booze there (lot of beers or bottles there on the ground) and then ride the pass..no wonder there are so many RIP stones..driving straight is difficult when drunk but on this road it's insanity..the road is not that difficult, it's just dangerous because ppl drink and there may be landslides (so stupid to ride there in bad weather)

I enjoy your videos; they're captivating! Your journeys are extraordinary. 🌍 Could you shed light on dealing with fatigue during lengthy rides and keeping yourself in shape? Can't wait!
There is no big secret. The best you can do is to get in shape before you start a trip like this. I do train in the Gym 3x a week and go for extended offroad rides (100km) once a week starting a few month before the trip. The rest is more or less "don't do stupid things!". Means: don't ride your bike on a 5 weeks offroad trip like you might do it on a day trip. Don't race and try not to get injured. At least that is what I do. Greetings, Stefan.
hi i am from georgia, i am looking for an adventure bike to buy, i can be rour host in georgia an i can buy a bike at the rnd of your trip. it depends on a bike
Such a great adventure! I've also wanted and planed a trip to Turkey and Georgia for 2022, but decided to split the 2 countries and do 2 separate trips. We went in Turkey in 2022 and hope to visit Georgia this year. I also want to go in June because i believe that the landscape it's most beautiful with the lush green and white snow caps on top of the mountains. When exactly did you go in june? first or second half? And how was the Tusheti road to Omalo? We're traveling 2 up on an Africa Twin and i hope it's not to difficult... Thanks in advance for all the answers! ADV ON and cheers from Romania!
Hi mate, we spent approx. 2 weeks in Georgia from mid june till the end. The Tusheti road to Omalo is this what you can see in 2/3 of part 2 of this video. The footage describes the conditions. It's doable with a pillion but more challenging. Some of the serpentines are quite narrow. So take your time. Greetings from Germany, Stefan.
Yeah, there are some remote areas near Usguli that are good to reach on lightweight enduro bikes but a huge challenge on the ADV bikes like the Tenere 700.
yeah those insane drivers overtake even if a truck is going ahead and they have underpowered vehicle..I really hope your friend teaches them some nice lessons with his hummer :D
Great edit what time of year did you arrive in Georgia and where can you find updates on the mountain passes myself and a mate are working our way east to Georgia sailing from Barcelona on 30th April Sardinia,Sicily, Bari, Durres
I have no clue if an official website exists where they Update the conditions on the Passes. You could contact the National Park authorities or some of the guest house owners near the Passes. I was talking to other travellers I met on the way to get as much infos as possible. Do you have your motorbikes on the boot 🚤 or do you wanna rent them in Georgia?
Wow. Da kriegt man schon Herzklopfen beim zusehen.

Georgia is one of the most underrated countrys! Wine,Taste Food,Tradition,Sea,Mountain have a Big Potenional
