Thanks for the upload! I'm a new player, and I'm saving up for another character/waifu that is on the kernel banner. I recently and got the "Top operator" tag, but ended up getting Ifrit. Her range is really strange... It's really hard to position her on most maps so I can't use her often :( I watched a few other videos and they said to not pull on the kernel banner. Should I wait for a new character to release or go for kernel?
@@jayderaider Hello and welcome to Arknights! Ifrit is definitely on of the casters to get used to. You have to find "Ifrit lanes" for her, but because AK is a mobile game, what you can do is position her facing vertical, and then add a defender so she hits the tile in front of the defender. She can hit multiple lanes when she's facing up or down, you dont have to use her full range :) get creative! The advice for not puling on Kernel honestly applies to older players. Theres a Kernel Celebration banner which guatantees a new Kernel 6 star op so you can pull there :) there are a lot of amazing 6 stars in Kernel and although u can get them through the top operator tag in recruit, it is RARE. Although I will say to skip this particular banner coz the 2 waifus here are too niche and if you're having trouble using ifrit it will be hard to use these two lol. For now, save up because there's a limited banner coming up and both ops in that limited banner are very good! We have one more event with Ray but general consensus is to skip her first and wait for the limited :) Hope this helps!
@@JDYT6969 yea lin is great altho i think the phalanx caster archetype as a whole is a cool concept. Having a ranged tank can be pretty useful and while i dont have lin i enjoy using beeswax bc the passive health regen + summonable pillar is neat

@@akilsam regen is better than having just extra defense and res hahaha and Lin's shield is functional coz it gives her extra sp
I got Almond in 2 pulls and I didn't have her. I have Carnelian, but don,t have Eunectus gues I will get her next time
