OK first of all, the fact that LISA would get an F on anything school-related is RIDICULOUS. Its made VERY CLEAR in the books that she is very smart and makes straight A-s. Secondly, the rule in the book is that the students have to maintain a C average to ride at Pine Hollow.

Lisa’s mother mentioned that her grades had been slipping, and the “C average” rule was never mentioned on the show. There are a lot of differences between the show and the books. That’s normal when it comes to TV/film adaptions.

I wish they had the saddle club at the stables I was riding at when I was younger. I would definitely be a part of it.
But one question though. Unless you have your own horse, do stables really let you ride these horses when you want, in Australia?

Depends on the stable and the riders age and ability, it wasn’t until after six years of lessons that I was able to just show up and ride recreationally
