There are interviews from this time period where Omar is clearly giving Jim the death stare. I think Cedric and Jim were genuinely friends and Omar was the new guy for a long time. I also read that Tony and Jim didn't get along during the EP that they made before In Casino Out came out.
I really want to appreciate the people behind the music I love but what the fuck. If omar was so displeased with Jim then don't do an interview with him.
Then what. Bands break up. They’d been rolling for a long time and getting famous I’m sure wasn’t easy for this band. I love Sparta and TMV. Just enjoy the bands that came from it. Also, I’m sure that Cedric and Omar had already made up their minds way before this interview.
@@chadwickwright2833 its funny how the universe works. it feels like we needed them to break up so we'd get TMV and Sparta. atdi ended in a good way where they didnt extend it and it became mediocre yet left us wanting more at the same time.
Oh my God people! It's a fucking joke, he cracks a smile # the ending ffs... @ this point they have also been together 24 hours a day, nearly every fucking day for HOW many years now
Bro what was the deal between Omar and Jim Like genuinely does anyone know? Omar seemed to really dislike Jim . There’s a nardwaur interview with TMV and even there Omar throws a shot at him
I love this band but god damn listening to them or any musician for that matter explain why they play music is about the most cringe worthy thing on the planet. Seriously, you don't want to get "real jobs" you want to do drugs and play music. Hey, nothing wrong with that but we could do without this whole philosophic bullshit acting like you're enlightened beyond recognition because you decided to play music. Sorry to shit talk, listening to any musician explain why they do what they do and interviews with professional athletes make me want to set myself on fire from the cringe.
Alex Hennigh good music comes out of a passion and dedication for the art, it doesn’t just shit itself out because “you don’t want a real job” or because you want to do drugs and perform.
Idk about you, but I’d rather get high and try to write a hit song than be standing all day at fast food, delivering pizzas and getting paid .02 cents per drive.
You can clearly see the rift between Omar and Jim here.
Michael Graham yeah I agree Omar always seemed like a bit of an ass
@@michaelgraham9774 I met Omar once and he definitely had the energy of a pretentious prick.. but that was just one time

My band supported Sparta yesterday and Jim was the sweetest person you could imagine! Such a humble and genuine guy
"we love each other" as they break up the following week lol.
Meh. Bands grow apart. I used to be in a 2 year deal with bands. I’ve been in over 16 bands.
@@chadwickwright2833 this was a little more than 'growing apart' though, bit sad actually how they broke up
how did they?@@robf1557
How prophetic of Jim.
They broke up literally the month after this show.
Sad that this band broke up but I'm grateful for the albums they put out. Classics.

Omar s hair is the coolest i ve ever seen

that fucking guy...never liked the mars volta, in.casino.out is my shit. Jim is the man.
Big deal
@@jpredon7497 i mean i would just say he's being honest lol. it was kinda weird for jim to assume that anyways
