For centuries, we knew nothing about the existence of this place. The city lay undiscovered - hidden from the world - for almost 400 years until an American historian stumbled across it in 1911. You know pastor Kent, as I went thru the book patriarch and prophets I came upon the story of the tower of babel and how the majority of Noah's family did not want to retain God in their minds so they started to build the tower of babel with nimrod as their leader and because of the cry of the saints to God, he came down and confused their language which wasn't is original plan after the flood, he wanted men to scatter over the whole earth but they were disobedient and he then confused the language that those who spake the same language went to different parts of the world, but at a great loss to them, because they chose not to retain God in their minds so they were cut off from his word , but as you said pastor God is always very close to the sinner and he has helped mankind throughout the ages, he has like you said showed thru his creation that he exist and those who call on him whether jew or in this case incas he hears them. 2 peter 3:9 , the lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness but is longsuffering not willing that any should perish , but that all should come to repentance, again . Ezekial 33:11, say unto them , as I live saith the lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. One more mention here but if we remmber the store of baalam , he knew God but baalam appeared on the scene out of nowhere but he was a prophet of the lord and he wasn't an Israelite the question then begs how did baalam know about the true and living God, the truth is as you said GOD is never far from those who don't even know about him he sustains their life as he does ours and he loves them just the same as he loves us.
