Part 2: • Omar Gooding on Workin...
    --------
In this clip, Omar Gooding opened up about growing up in the Los Angeles-area with his two siblings, including his brother, Cuba Gooding Jr. From there, Omar spoke about his father, Cuba Gooding Sr., being the lead singer of the group The Main Ingredient, who are known for their hit song, "Everybody Plays the Fool." Despite his success, Omar revealed that his father was blacklisted after going to South Africa during apartheid. After falling on hard times, the Gooding family was homeless, which Omar says didn't really bother him as much because it was all he knew. To hear more, including his brother booking acting roles as a kid, hit the above clip.

Vlad is always making incorrect comments to the people that he interviews. Omar is not best known for his role in 'Baby Boy'. Omar has done like 5 or 6 sitcoms, and other movies. Vlad only knows black celebrities for the ghetto roles that they play. Funny dude.

I always like telling this story. My sister and brother in-law met Omar Gooding when they were in Vegas. This was about 2 years after Baby Boy came out. They told him I was a fan of his and he actually took the time to call me and say hi, although I missed the call. I really appreciated that over the years, it really showed his character of being down to earth. Needless to say, I regret missing that call. If he sees this, I want to wish him continued success, and thank him as a fan, for trying to reach out to me back in the day.😃 Take Care.
