I remember my late Father took me and my big sister to the cinema to see Modern Problems it's hilarious it helped us out after the passing of mine and sister's Grandfather my Father's Father. Dabney Coleman was great in it. He always been one of my favorite actors Rest In Paradise Mr. Dabney Coleman 🕯️🙏🏽🕯️
1990 he made a movie called “Short Time”- to me as a retired officer is still a hilarious film. He thinks he is dying and his police benefits are only good if he dies on duty. So he starts going to extremely dangerous situations (hoping he dies), to stop the crimes being committed. I will not Spoil the whole film. Teri Garr is in the film as his wife… it’s set in Seattle Washington and I still enjoy it. Go watch it and enjoy Mr. Coleman. RIP
Damn, I was just thinking about him the other day wondering if he was still alive. I remember him from Drexel’s Class. It stuck in my mind when I remember seeing one specific episode that had the rapper “No Nose”. I remember how well the show did the first season but when the rating’s tanked they were trying anything to get viewers. It seemed surreal for a white urban kid to see a black rapper with a metal plate on his nose and Dabney dressed like up like one of his crew. He was a talented actor and by all accounts a very nice guy. Great memorial
They left out something he was extremely proud of, and that was his having attended Virginia Military Institute. Whenever he could, he'd wear his VMI ring while acting.
I assume it was "natural causes." He was 92 when he passed away. Saw in a lot of TV shows including The FBI, Streets of San Francisco, Police Story, Petrocelli, Cannon, McMillan & Wife, Columbo, Ironside, Banacek, McCloud, ABC Movie Of The Week, Mannix.
9 to 5, Cloak and Dagger and War Games were the movies I enjoyed as kid. RIP
He was in 0n Golden Pond too
Cloak and Dagger respect 👍
Both are some my favorites.
He was a good, charismatic actor.
I will miss him 🥺
Funny & dramatic Dabney was a gem. Glad to know he lived a full life to age 92 ! 😊

I really enjoyed his acting. He was very funny.
General Beringer: Mr. McKittrick, after very careful consideration, sir, I've come to the conclusion that your new defense system sucks.

Great "bad guy"!
I had a feeling he must’ve just recently died because I knew that as of before this posting he was still alive. I enjoyed him in a lot of movies.💁🏻♀️
