Oh Sarah, what a lovely soap and how nice to hear the conversation with your daughter of some past experiences. This was just lovely. I enjoyed this video SO much. Great looking bar and a super clever idea. Thank you for being a part of these.
Aww Renee, I am thrilled that you enjoyed sharing a few memories. The pleasure is all mine, I love being able to be a part and sharing in the spirit of soap spirit and community
Hi Ma'am.. That was a Fabulous presentation. I think it turned out so well and pretty like how you wished and planned. And you are so cool in cutting with knife. Your bars are a wonderful creation to display in your studio. Stay blessed 💕
Thank you so much for this WONDERFUL creation and presentation. You are really a pleasure to watch and listen to. I am very inspired and WILL make this fantastic soap as presents for masculin family members and friends.
This is truly an inspirational mother - daughter video! - as my daughters love helping me with soap making too. Many thanks coming your way from India 🇮🇳 ... and yes, we are under partial lockdown too with schools still being shut.
Hi Erlynn, waving madly to you. So glad you liked it! I hope you have some amazing fun together with your children. Many positive memories being made at this time as well as the hardships
Thank you. I checked all over (im here in the states) were I live and I couldn't find any natural reindeer moss. Just "preserved" moss. So, I found some seaweed from a local healthstore. I'm thinking that should have a similar effect.
@@methodical1234 It is usually available in floristry suppliers as they use it a lot and I think I have seen small bags of it in Michaels or Hobby lobby when I have been over there but I just checks and they colour it. You can purchase it on Etsy but all I have found online in America seems to be preserved. This may be because it has been moistened to fluff it up and soften it. I buy it in its dry solid state and refluff in water once it gets here.
Hi Shweli, We have made our own many times but it is a more advanced technique. We prefer to use the excellent bases available most of the time as they are great quality
@@SoapSchoolUK Thank you❤ for giving me reply. Actually I want to make soap base. So that when I need to make any kind of soap, I can easily make my own type.
@@shewlisharma2314 I believe there are some great videos on TH-cam for this. One thing to note is that the clearer the soap, generally the less lather there is so you may have to compromise somewhere
@@SoapSchoolUK Sarah you made so many nice cold process soaps for us. And I want to know that can I use my simple coconut cold process soap as soap base

@@SoapSchoolUK Is there a type brand of reindeer moss you would recommend for trying something like this? Thanks.
@@methodical1234 I always use the dreid natural uncoloured variety as the colours they use are not necessarily skin safe

Truly beautiful. Where could I find the soap mold you are using?
The blue loaf mold? It is a commonly used one in Japan and Korean soap making sites
what other moss/plant can you suggest incase if the reindeer moss isnt available?
You should be careful with many types as some can be sensitizing so I would not use tree mosses etc. You can use seaweeds though or loofah!
@@SoapSchoolUK how loofah?
Hello! great video. Just found your page. How long after submerging the moss in water do you wait until completely dry so no water gets in your soap?
Just a quick soak and squeeze it as much as possible
You are so pretty))
Thanks so much
What scent did you use?
We used Seashore fragrance :)
so cool looks pretty!
new fiend here, hope to be friends
We would love to see you with us again soon :)

I have done a balsamic vinegar soap and if you changed the balsamic vinegar for the apple cider vinegar it would be perfect for you :)
Soap School please send the link to the video. I can not locate it. Thank you.
Where can we find the recipe?
great videos can you share the measurement for 10 kilograms of soap how much naoh is added in grams/kilograms and how much coconut oil should be added in grams/kilograms and how much palm oil should be added grams/kilograms
Hi Lako, This is a glycerin soap which uses a premade base so you would not require coconut oil or lye
