That's what you may be thinking of( ew.com/article/2011/09/06/my-chemical-romance-drummer-fired/ ). I feel like it's very possible that Bob left the band due to creative differences- especially when you look at the vast tonal difference between Welcome to the Black Parade and Danger Days. I think Bob also had a bit of a rocky relationship with Mikey, but I'm not sure if that was ever officially confirmed or if it had any part in his departure from the band. What we do know is that MCR wished Bob well after his departure, and asked that the fans do the same. I have only ever seen hostility toward Bob from the fans, though, so yep. Sorry about the long paragraph!
