Russell Saunders despised this piece (Sunday Music) and maybe all Eben. Gillian Weir played it at an AGO Convention and he was quite distressed at it having been programed. I have no idea why.
A question for Monica: You are surely an extremely talented organist and it looks li you can play anything. But, I really can't be certain of that unless I'll be able to compare your performance to others I know and love. So, my question is - Is it possible you'll perform and post a more "known" pieces ? (i.e Bach, Handel, etc..) I'm sure many non-experts-in-modern-organ-pieces (99.999% of the viewers?) will agree.. Thanks, James
Many pieces she plays are not in the public domain, but I watch in absolute fascination as she plays these "unknown" pieces. This lady is good ! Thanks for showing the fantastic foot work. And all from memory ! Astounding ! All the work has paid off.
