It’s comforting just watching this! 😂 Talking about the rerouting during the Infusion build, I’m sure that in the earlier days of BPB the train used to go the opposite way round - traversing the “sea side” of the Big Dipper before going under the Dipper and back around where Icon is now. It might have been like that until the mid-1970s.

Pleasure Beach Experience I have to agree Scott, hardly lazy as we’re not using it as a taxi as it doesn’t drop you off in different parts on the p.b. It takes you back to where u first started, just like every other ride🤔

Brilliant pov 👍 I remember lapping the pleasure beach express when I was younger with my dad. My other memory is when watching the old vlogs and seeing icon updates it feels a bit strange now lol.

Callum Thompson Strangely enough I don’t think they were ever in my mind except the Big One and Log Flume. I was fascinated by coasters but scared of doing them for years.

Always loved riding around the Tom Sawyer part with its boats going around their circuit and along side the Log flume. The train use to go over the water properly in those days. I remember the train and monorail used to have a race when they met buy the big one. I remember the train going the other way too, there used to be a few trampolines under the cable car exit back in the 70's. Wish they would put some track grease on that last curve lol. Ps do you remember the travelators they went up and down along the ramp by the ice ring?

Still see the monorail has it's track in places be nice to see the hotels use that feature, the train needs an update tell the story of the pleasure beach as it goes round loads of heritage to attach to.
1. Yes they could do with sorting out the squeaking. 2. Yes some (all?) of the set pieces could do with updating. 3. Sometimes you have a 'magical circuit' where you hit all the majors at 'just' the right time and see trains galore flying overhead or right beside you. 4. PBE is great for chilling and seeing the park from a different perspective. 5. Regarding the old route you mention at 0:55 I have it on very good authority that section of track is haunted and riders complained about not feeling 'right' when they came off the ride. The 'mist' at 9:10 was therefore introduced, spraying riders with a 'special potion' that made them forget they had just ridden PBE. Later, the train was re-routed and the mist (now just tap water) left as a little feature. And that's FACT :)

Love the pb express so enjoyed this video. Any idea why the space invader facade is still there partially as that ride has been gone a long time and it does look very strange seeing the top part of that building still space themed.

Sorry, but that squeaking sound is maddening! (There MUST be a way to fix that! I see others have also commented about the insane squeaking.) But on a GOOD note, I like how some of the rides interact with each other, roller coasters running through each other's structures, etc. And ESPECIALLY running so close to the hotel windows. :-)
