This is what I think, Doug King has swapped out quality for quantity! We were lucky that Akpom was not available for Boro, otherwise the score line would have read City 3, Boro 6! Our defence was naïve, disjointed and easy to get through or go around! Boro missed at least half a dozen easy sitters! Lots of work for Mark Robbins to do on his new defenders. I see Vicktor scored two goals in two minutes for Sporting Lisbon on Saturday and I think that Gus will come back to haunt us next season! We going up or them coming down!
Christ. A few years ago 24k turning up for an early kick off on Sky would’ve been the stuff of dreams! Keep playing like that and we’ll have several sell outs this year. A few months from now that ground will be packed and rocking like nothing we’ve ever seen before
24k is a great attendance, Highfield Road was less than that! Some of us don't live local and make the games we can, but still listen to every game, buy the shirts etc., hardly makes us "glory hunters", get off your pedestal.

Sheaf racing to get back possession before giving it to Godden for the third summed up his performance, he was box to box for the whole 90 mins.
