I still make my own recipe. Back in the days I don´t remember it being particularly hot. Over the decades my recipe (not written down) might have changed. When I serve it to my friends now, some of them seem to have a bit of trouble. They still come to eat so it can´t be that bad.
I picked it up awhile back, but I wasn't wild about it. It was the super bold lemon note in the sauce that turned me off. I'm not too wild about lemon in hot sauces, but I could see how it would be a good sauce for someone who digs that.
Hey Johnny, Can you please review Nando’s Extra Bloody Hot Peri-Peri sauce. I think it’s great. A nice amount of heat and the right thickness. I find the medium and anything below the medium is a little too runny.
Omw I always wondered if youd try Nandos. We have quite alot of different Nando sauces. There is a XXHot Nandos sauce. It's not super hot but it's really tasty. As a South African I'm so happy to see this!!! I ate some Nandos about 2 weeks ago. Also, their lemon a herb sauce is amazing as well as the Mediterranean sauce. Nandos has quite the variety of sauces. I really hope you get to try them all Johnny.
That should be the chase the heat reference...we're all Johnny's "peep hole" by definition peephole "people" that are a little off centered but welcomed with open arms ...love ya johnny love this community
I really like Nando’s sauces. I usually buy the big bottles and use it to bake chicken with. Even the hot one is not very spicy, but I add a bit of msg and 6.4 million scoville “Psycho extract”. That makes it perfect! I then bake chicken thighs in the concoction, later covering with mozzarella and a sprinkle of oregano until melted. Serve with rice and enjoy!
I actually really like the Nandos XX Hot sauce! The Rosemary really sets it apart! WE have a bottle of the one you're holding there too! I kicked the heat up on that one though!

Man I got a Peri-Peri sauce that was a partnership with Heatonist / Hot Ones and couldn't stand the taste of it... something weird about it. Everything else I ordered from them was great though. Have you tried the Last Dab Apollo sauce? I guess the Apollo Pepper is now the hottest in the world?

The best nando's sauce to try in my opinion would be their vusa sauce which is the hottest one they do.
I haven’t tried their medium heat level sauce but their hot heat level sauce is a staple in my fridge. So tasty!

Gotta get a bottle of the Vusa sauce. It’s the hottest they have, still not blindingly hot but it tastes great.

I use the hot in almost everything, it's great with meatballs and I put it on eggs.
