Learn how to paint mini paintings in the alla prima method using my Duma Do Art Process: it’s my step-by-step framework that teaches beginner painters to think and see like an artist. It’s also the process that I used to learn how to paint - as a late-blooming artist, I needed to catch up fast!

I am curious, how soon after the surface feels dry to touch do you feel comfortable selling it? I would love to know how you package your work for shipment.

If it's going to the gallery, most likely it will have a few extra days to dry, so that's good. The paint has to be really dry when shipping, or the bubble wrap or tissue paper will stick to it, and that will freak the collector out when it arrives

Gamblin publishes a chart that shows relative drying time for its paints by color.

The painting you were holding would dry in 2 weeks to dry then you could varnish it and ready to sell. Correct?

traditionally the rule was to wait 6 months before varnishing! But Gamblin makes a varnish that they say you can use when the oil paint is dry to the touch. Be careful though. I thought my paint was dry and put varnish on it and it smudged. Luckily was on an area where it didn't matter. I don't normally varnish. I was just testing.

What will happen if i use only Siccative, without any other medium, when glazing ?

Hi, I don't glaze. I paint alla prima so I do not really know much about that process. I think it's best to ask a painter who paints in the Classical/traditional method.
