Copper Mountain Ski Resort Colorado 12/23/2023

It's a cold, overcast day at Copper Mountain Ski Resort in Colorado. The snow crunches and squeaks underfoot. There is a lot of early season terrain open under the Super Bee, American Eagle, and Excelerator lifts. Sharp edges are your best friends today on the hard, hardpack, but there's plenty of room to ski. A lot of top to bottom vertical. Resolution Bowl's lower runs were open for a short time to remind us what powder was. Then they were closed just as quickly. It was great while it lasted. A lucky few got to sample the goods.

Beautiful. I prefer Copper over Vail, Breck, Keystone, A-basin. Too bad they've jacked their lift tickets to the point their no longer attractive.
