why do you want to do this with mask tracking. Mask tracking is not used to attach amy object. If you attach your tracking data to a null simply use motion tracking😊

I believe they want to replace footage (like GeoTracker). This would work, but it's not the most streamlined workflow.
This does not work in AE CS6.
You are correct. Unfortunately CS6 is about 10 years old. This is a newer feature.
