So yeah Ruka wrote the English lyrics to CL’s “MTBD” and the Korean lyrics is from the original song. The thing about Ruka is that they don’t really show much of her and what she can do in the earlier episodes tbh. The focus was on other girls, but when you get to individual performances in this episode and the last 2 episodes. You see how Ruka presence and energy is needed in the group. She really brings that hip hop and older/mature vibe which she rightfully says she is the MONSTER in BABYMONSTER. In terms of dancing/group performance she is also a very important pillar for the group cuz she is a very talented dancer and pays attention to the little details in choreography and stage performance/dance formations. She’s very involved in terms of dance/performance that she does lead the group in a lot of practices and rehearsals. Rami/Haram and even Ahyeon tends to lead in vocal practices. Rami also is good in terms of putting her input/opinions on live stages too just like Ruka. But there is no official leader in BABYMONSTER, instead they all have their own skills and leadership qualities. Some are really good in variety shows and some are natural in talking/hosting/MC/radio shows. Asa most likely takes lead in terms of recording in the studio since she also composes music, but Ruka also expresses wanting to compose/produce music for the group in the near future. 👍 But yeah I noticed that some people tend to not really notice Ruka that much until the last 3 episodes and they end up loving her and for some she becomes their bias in BABYMONSTER.
