    Always enjoy your episodes.
    I don’t know how to describe this but my wife and I rode our bikes from Paris to MontSt Michel and then all of Brittany and down to Biarritz and across the Pyrenees to Perpignan and then to Marseille, !981 4 months. Camped every night, Ate at only local places and realized that we could be together for a long time Every village had.a character of its own . And we are 42 yrs later still together and about to spend a few months in La Palme, Languedoc and Eygalieres in Provence with my family and will explore every village .

    France is indeed charming and beautiful as I lived there many years ago.
    Come to think of it, so is Diane! 😊
    Vive la France et vive Diane. 🇫🇷

    More, more, I say. These truly charming places to live/visit/preserve remind us of what beauty truly is. You are living a life many of us, myself included, can only dream of…🇫🇷

    I love Béhuard! I had my first communion there (a million years ago...) There are so many cute villages by the Loire around Saumur as well (Montsoreau, Candes Saint-Martin, etc...)

    I know you live un Maine et Loire like me but I'm still surprised in each video : "mais c'est tout près de chez moi !!". I'd be so pleased to meet you some day !
    I love Behuard too. Great video.

    *Wonderful, so charming...when people coming from abroad decide to settle in small cities rather than Paris, Lyon or Marseille... it's a shame for us, French people, who struggle to leave these big cities. Your quality of life must be really better.* 🥰👍🏼

    Great video Diane. This looks like a lovely village. We stayed with friends in Beaugency, also on the Loire, and it was similar. Small, quaint, and delicious at every turn. Please consider doing a video about pools and pool clubs in France. My husband and I are staying in Nice for Feb and March 2024 and want to find a pool for exercise. I've read some interesting things, very different from the US...coed changing rooms for example. One woman said that a gentleman right next to her pulled the waistband of his trunks out so water from the communal shower tap could wash his, ahem...stuff...lol. I would have died! I would not know if it was normal or if he was a pervert. I think it may be a minefield.

      "a gentleman right next to her pulled the waistband of his trunks out so water from the communal shower tap could wash his, ahem...stuff". In France like everywhere else, decent people don't do that.

    Diane, enjoyed this tour so much! Having lived in both the southwest and in Provence, I still feel that the charm of that section of the Loire Valley beats them both for me. It sure is disconcerting though to see the river so low.

    Merci Diane. So good to see you again. What a lovely little town. I’ll be arriving in Paris on September 14, 2023, spending 5 days in Saint Malo followed by 5 days in Angers arriving September 24. It would be lovely if I would be able to meet Tom and You. A bientot. Josef.

    Dans le genre petit village plein de charme, connaissez-vous Grez-Neuville, sur la Mayenne, à 20 km au nord-ouest d'Angers ? C'est vrai que Béhuard a un cachet très particulier, blotti sur son île...

    So is there a drought going on? Why is the river so incredibly low? It reminds me of where I live in Southern California seeing reservoirs, lakes and rivers incredibly reduced in water volume.

    • @OuiInFrance
      @OuiInFrance  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There was a winter drought and with not a ton of rain and hot weather, it's just gotten worse. It's definitely seeing the effects of climate change.

      I doubt the water is that low now [!] @@OuiInFrance
