It's crazy to think that the most streamed beatles song in the digital age doesn't have John Lennon on it.
It is crazy. But if one knows Beatles history, one can understand why John wasn’t present. At the time that Here Comes the Sun was being recorded, John was recovering from a very bad car accident that he and Yoko had. John needed fourteen stitches on his face.
@benwilliams647 Yes, I'm aware. He missed out on Golden Slumber sessions as well as Carry That Weight too, if I recall correctly. Lennon crashed his car because he couldn't see shit, lol. He was legally blind, i'm fairly certain.

Love the emphasis you’ve put on the strings and keyboards which I always found somewhat buried.
Great mix, and yeah I agree with others I can see why they dropped the solo. It’s cool to finally have a good mix with it though.

The moog is so much clearer, as well as the low strings
George was clearly trying to add some sort of Eric Clapton sound to the solo.

This sounds great! I like it! Well done! The album cover shows that John Lennon is not present however. Only Paul, George and Ringo. My guess is that John Lennon was having a wedding with Yoko Ono that time. That’s interesting! 😄

Hi. I like your tasteful and creative mix, but I don't see how the missing guitar bit helps.
I seriously believe it was "lost" because George had not decided on the final sound or where it would fit in the arrangement. The classic original mix is stupendous, but your new one does no harm (other than the odd sounding guitar bit), a difficult thing to achieve.
Me gusta tu concepto, y por supuesto el resultado final. Como siempre, muy agradecido. Una petición, si no fuera mucha molestia. Una mezcla alterna de "Good Day Sunshine". Eso porque si te das cuenta, fue el único tema del que no apareció absolutamente nada en la Edición "Super Deluxe" de Revolver (salvo la nueva mezcla de Giles Martin), y merecía su momento para lucirse como las demás. Gracias de antemano, que sigan lo éxitos!

I believe the solo should have remained in the song, but perhaps it would have been more effective if it were repositioned. Instead of being played over the vocals, it could have enhanced the more instrumental sections of the track, allowing for a more balanced and impactful listening experience.

Acho que foi uma boa decisão (do George Martin?) retirar esse solo da mix final. Ele soa confuso. Hoje serve como uma curiosidade e como aula do processo de criação de arranjos dos Beatles.

The guitar solo does sound awkward. I'm not saying it's bad or anything though
It sounds a bit out of tune to me, plus it doesn't add anything. Good to leave it off the original.
