These tutorials seem to always conveniently forget to mention the minor fact that you need a couple hundred dollars to set this up and that even if you sell your NFTs at $10 (assuming they sell at all which is becoming increasingly more difficult for jpeg art) the buyer has to pay a gas fee that is unlikely to be less than $100.

It’s a gas fee, you’ll pay 1-2 gas fees to create/post then they’ll take 15% fee to sell the NFT. Usually expect to pay around 150-250 to get it minted and listed for someone to be able to make bids/buy. I didn’t mention but the gas fee is due to the amount of energy required to do the transactions, one of these transactions is equal to 140,000 Visa card transactions so they charge the gas fee
You also have the option to exercise lazy mining where the buyer pays for the gas fees when buys your Nft. Its available opensea and rarible too. I tried it once and it worked but i used polygon blockhain. But creating NFT is one thing and promoting it and creation of value is another thing.
