To educate people that this is propaganda and an unnatural way of eating for humans. We did not evolve eating this way. Better than highly processed food, obviously, but many of these so-called healthy foods are actually detrimental to your health. Eat a species appropriate diet for optimal health. Do your own research into what we as a species evolved eating over millions of years, and don't be fooled by this push to sell you this nonsense. Ask a zoo keeper what they feed the animals and they will tell you they feed them a species appropriate diet, and anything else will make them sick. Humans are designed to live to 120 years old, and be healthy and active till then. It is not normal, but common today, to die around 80 years old, spending the last 20 years of that weak, sick and decrepit, kept alive by a cocktail of pills.
Eat fatty red meat. Be in ketosis. Farmed regeneratively, ruminant animals are good for the environment, good for your health, and kill far less animals. But, of course won't make big food a killing in profits. Don't believe the lies, don't be brainwashed, think for yourself, do your own research. Your health, our future, and the well being of the environment depends on it.

Because he is the main face of Huel which looks to be an ultra processed food like substance and absolutely the complete opposite of the Zoe ethos of promoting fresh, natural, unprocessed foods. Sure, the man may be very successful and maybe he could give you good advice on that, but you would have to think that he would advertise and put his name to anything if it makes him money.

Steven was asked about his food and exercise. I don’t think I heard him say this is what you should do.
Though I don’t follow the Zoe plan I do fast and have read the research on our gut biome. What he talked about re nutrition and exercise is spot on.

Hi Steve. I don’t follow Zoe but a lot of their advice is on the right track. My own research over the past 5-10 years or so has taught me a lot so I disagree with some of his suggestions. I prefer to follow others with more experience. Tim isn’t the person who recommended the 30 plants per week by the way. It’s really interesting to see others quote what the whole food plant based vegan doctors (including the term plant based) have been shouting from the rooftops for many years. It’s a good thing that the message is reaching a wider audience now. Good luck with your health journey.

Steven, love your show and Zoe but way to expensive £200 for most of us. I want to buy choc Huel but please please please get the Sucralose out, now shown to be toxic and gives me an instant migraine and makes people eat more! and no stevia it tastes like chemical sweetener and ruins the taste. Use maple syrup it is full of B vitamins or xylitol or nothing and let us add our preference. x

Steven I love the way in your interviews, you don't just ask one prepared question after another. Rather, you ask a question, and then go deeper based on what your interviewee says, and then you go deeper and deeper on each subsequent answer. You are really listening and it's what makes you such a talented interviewer.
Your doggo is adorable, but I do hope and pray that you do not ever buy another brachycephalic dog unless it's a rescue. We should not be encouraging the breeding of dogs just because we like how cute their smushed faces are, when they suffer so much because of them

I think gut health is generally improved by not eating ultra processed foods rather than including more plants in the diet. Zoe and I agree on the first point, but I personally have benefitted hugely by not eating many fruits and vegetables. Apparently there is fermentable carbohydrates in many fruit and veges which can cause gut ill health.

I am so angry at the B.S of this video. Steven Bartlett(seems like a nice guy) is a promoter and makes money from selling Huel, An Ultra Processed Food. A harmful synthetic non food. Which i dought he ever drinks himself if he is serious about the Zoe life style as he claims. And then he performs for the camera to inspire us, how he eats regularly Fresh Strawberries, Raspberries, and Blueberries.
because they are definitely within the budget of the average person in the uk. Thanks for showing your true colors now at least we know.
Zoe must have been desperate, to take his money as an investor and to use him as a millionaire role model.
It does make me questions Zoe's Ethics too.!!

You dont have to use Zoe. Just eat less, more greens and move more. Try seeing what ill health does when you go to wards on hospitals. I like Steven, he knows what it means to have nothing. So go work hard and stop bloody moaning.

I am 72 yr M and I guarantee My diet is equal or better than Zoe, simply because I know how to cook and I only buy fresh food which I eat twice daily. I have discipline so no need for some marketed product. I also guarantee that I would crush you in a bicycle race or playing tennis, at 60 yrs I was still playing football competitively, sadly I dont have running speed now otherwise I would play football against you . I admire your work ethic but please do not try to convince people like me that there are magic formulas. Lastly I am not arrogant, competitive yes,but not an ar*eho*e. Where in nature do people eat 30 plants in a week without modern grocery stores and such things.🤔🙄 Very unnatural, I'll say that. 🧐 Show me one animal in a natural setting that NEEDS to eat in such a way. Even a koala bear needs a special diet, but not from a grocery store. It's provided in their habitat. 🤯
More than half of the things placed in that salad weren't even avaliable just 200 years ago.🤔😏 There was no Broccoli or asparagus as we no it for example. Do people think tomatoes look like they do today 300 years ago? I'm not totally believing the carnivore lifestyle either but atleast meat/fish/bugs etc make a lot more sense. People need to take their head out of the sand and look at this logically. Again, look at an apple today or vegetable today and they 1000% don't resemble what was available even 200 years ago, forget 1,500 years ago. A banana is a perfect example. No one was sprinkling nuts on their food 300 years ago. Just because we have advanced from the jungles doesn't mean our digestive systems have. Too think we need 90% of the things mentioned to live a healthy life is silly. It reeks to me of some sort of elitist type of eating program that only the wealthy can do with all the things that one needs to buy in order to do this type of program. Is it fun to eat all these delicious foods? Of course, but that doesn't make it a credible eating plan as a homo sapien that we are. Just a rational person thinking out loud!🤫🤓😎 And I'm not saying none of this stuff makes sense or I'm against this individual at all. But if one looks at it logically, a lot of this stuff mentioned just doesn't make a lot of sense.

You make some interesting points. I have gone along with the 30+ types of plants a day (like Steve, I often have 30 different plants in a single day) and it seems to me to be healthy. I eat dairy meat and fish too.
I do however think it is a relatively expensive way to eat, especially in a non first world country, for example Peru where I live.
