One of the best scourge designs after his galaxy force flame convoy design,honestly the best repaint character of all time(rid 2001 scourge is actually repaint version of laser optimus)
I'm pretty sure everyone knows He's a repaint of G2 Laser Optimus.

@@uainjansun actually Black Convoy is Nemesis Prime’s Japanese name. Hasbro just didn’t catch on with the whole Nemesis Prime because they needed a way to still have the Trademark on Scourge.
For some bizarre reason I used to have a crush on Scourge from rid when i was younger and this figure looks awesome

If you really think about it, Rise of the Beasts will be the first Transformers movie that will have a proper Nemesis Prime (as Scourge).
When you gotta drop the f bomb to really get the size across you know the reviewer is really trying to sell you something good.
This makes me more excited for my 2001 rid optimus prime

The OG RiD Scourge is really good, also Nemesis Prime is the same thing just renamed for copyright (actually the other way around) and used for Armada. The evil Prime idea has been around forever and the black repaints started with Nebulon Powermaster OP, Scourge is just the first to combine these concepts (if you don't count Black Lio Convoy).
My favorite character in all of transformers, he sparked my love for scourge/nemesis prime and has made my collection of nemesis prime expansive.
I thought of this interesting transformers idea specifically for the character of scourge and how he would evolve in his character over time starting off as being simply a creation of Unicron simply known as Nemesis Prime, the evil clone of Optimus Prime, he would start off as just being simply a evil Optimus with the intentions on possibly overthrowing his master just like Galvatron over time Nemesis Prime what gain a personality of his own and would eventually rename himself into scourge until the day had came when he was completely reformatted into a new body which gave him his independence and he became an his very own bot.

I got this figure I think last month, currently have him next to TE-01 and they look really good together. I'm also trying to get MMC's Bruticus for the whole RID 2001 feel. Yes I know how weird it is having Scourge next to G1 transformers, but it's too good seeing them all together.
I have the Takara original version as a toy and he hardly ever been into storage, his trailer has but the main figure stays out because its awesome to look at and pretty possible for a mold that about 30 years old!

I loved RiD Scourge. I did find the name odd since I'd been watching G1 on VHS at the time (I was born in 1987, didn't see Transformers until Beast Wars), but it was a cool toy. I knew from the internet it was a recolor of a G2 figure, but I didn't know G2 so it was a new toy for me. Glad the G2 based Primes get recolored as him now since I just see that body as Scourge, not G2 Prime.
Great Design all around, and Scourge (Nemesis color) looks like Nemesis prime from “Armada”
Also, bad quality is not an excuse. For any instance. They know what they’re doing.
He isn't a villain. He and his crew cleaned up the forest.
I think the best incarnation to bear the name Scourge is the Cybertron version. A powerful, tyrannical that is also a very honorable leader that rules a planet with an iron-fist and turns into a fire breathing dragon that can gain two extra heads just fits to be called Scourge.
To me, that is Flame Convoy than Scourge
@@superomegaprimemk2 Well that is his Japanese name. I think the name just suits him more outside of his Japanese name. Like Evac's name sounds better than Live Convoy.

Possibly? Guaranteed. The deco is better than the Laser Optimus deco honestly. The recent Nemesis/Scourge offerings have had Armada arm cannons and Giza, a micron, hope they add them too. Arms are the one thing that kind of stink with the new Legacy mold.

Scourge is gonna be more savage looking, with a claw hand and internal fire.
Also, the Decipticons and Predacons may have been cut from the movie.

On the one hand, this is a fantabulously awesome rendition of Car Robots Black Convoy/RiD01 Scourge in MP scale (and Fans Hobby did well with their Laser Optimus Prime, too). BUUUT...I already have the MP49 Black Convoy KO to go with my MP44 Optimus Prime 3.0 KO...and NONE of the third-party companies have repainted their MP Bruticus offerings into Car Robots Baldigus/RiD01 Ruination yet, so ol' CR Black has no Minions to command.

The reason rotb was delayed is so it doesn't have to compete with the huge movie coming out literally a week before rotb's originally planned release date, that being jurassic world dominion.

Good customer service. Hasbro should take some cues from Fanshobby.
Hasbro has pretty awesome customer service, too. Every time I've had a problem with a Hasbro toy, they've offered me a replacement product, no questions asked. I think a lot of people get a bad impression because a lot of toys nowadays are exclusives, making them harder to replace.
@@OptimusPhillip True. But did you see what happened to Patriot Prime? He had a Tracks with a missing wheel. So, Hasbro sent him an Arcee. That's just really cheasy and shows that they don't care about their fans.
@@legoawcstopmotioner9435 Didn't hear about that, no. That's completely different to my last experience with them, though, and that was less than two years ago. My Studio Series ROTF Megatron broke due to a joint tolerance issue, and they specifically sent me a replacement copy of that specific toy.

The trailer is absolutely worth the price. I own it and it just absolutely completes the set. Tons of missiles and gimmicks, the guns, a new animation-accurate head, braces for the arms that make them stay closed, and more. It’s more than just a cylinder, trust me.
Nice review! I've always liked this version of the character and am looking forward to his role in the upcoming movie.
Considering the recent G2 Optimus that's part of the Legacy series, I wonder if they'll recolour and remold that figure into a Nemesis Prime/Scourge. I had no reason to buy that Earthrise remold cash grab of a figure, but a Scourge version would be great!
