I’ve only recently got into pinball and am fascinated at how intricate the tables and rules are. This table made me so irritated I’ve come to admire it. This video is a great help, thanks !
Great video. Thank you for mentioning the music by Brian Schmidt and the progressions designed similarly to Swords of Fury. I honestly think they have the best original music of any pins. I also appreciated the walkthrough/tutorial, you clearly know your stuff. I am considering adding it to the collection if I don't get a Sword of Fury again.
Came here after spending days stuck on the Williams 5 min challenge of getting over 2mil in 5 min. When I get multiball the balls immediately find a way get drained. So rarely have I completed redocking successfully in multiball. And it seems the only way to get the docking bays open again for another attempt at multiball is to hit the drop target blocking the right ramp which starts the countdown sound, then get the ball back up the right ramp with the time limit. I think I have to do this 2x. Then it will say docking bays re open for another chance at multiball. Only a few times have I been able to get multiball 2x within the time limit, then still not enough to get to the pts goal. Playing on an iPad using Williams app.
I finally surpassed the 2.2 mill 5 min challenge, after I am sure 50+ tries. As soon I completed the challenge the very next challenge was 3.2 mill in 5 min. Sheesh.
Same here - it is the hardest of the hard 5 min challenges to get to 3mill. Haven’t done it yet. One little secret I discovered, was that if you nudge the table at just the right time - just before the balls are released into redock multiball, the balls reset themselves in their desired holes and it’s an instant jackpot. Doesn’t always work.
Noice guide! I initially went for multiple things all at once while playing, including going for the SHUTTLE and STATION drop targets, but multiball *does* seem more manageable/safe to go for, the drop target sets will be completed when they're completed, heh! Also never would've realized that holding on one flipper and pressing another would make the target on the right toggle between which of the two rewards (SHUTTLE or STATION) to shuffle, woah. Lastlyyy, setting up for new multiballs while already in the mode (if possible) seems pretty good!
Thanks, and well done! Looking forward to more tutorial videos from you. Eish... house balls on this table are the worst! The one that gets me often is the ball ejected to the right from the bumpers going straight down the middle.
@@AVOIDAVOIDVOID also a fair point. It’s definitely not a novice-friendly table. As an intermediate player, I find that I appreciate the moments I’m able to cradle the ball on this table more, leading to me trying to make every controlled shot count. To each their own.
Unpopular opinion, but I love this table. It's simple and fast-paced. Once you learn what shots are safe it's hard but not unfairly punishing like Dr. Dude.
I love simpler tables like this. I hope a few more come to Pinball FX3. (But maybe they’re winding down their Williams remakes?) For some reason, the multiball in this game is the hardest for me to hold onto. I don’t know how you do it.
Don't know if you've been paying attention, been over a year since this comment was made. FX3 got one more Williams table as its last update -- Indiana Jones. FX since added in Swords of Fury, Bride of Pin*Bot, and World Cup Soccer.
@pinballwiz45b hi, we're doing a tribute song for this table (in Finnish). Would it be ok to use your game play video in Spotify canvas (and potentially in a lyric video)?
This table makes me mad. Playing it in the Williams Pinball game from the Google playstore. They have a challenge to make 2 million within 5 minutes. I haven't even come close.
This game WILL get you better at ball control since you can’t rely on inlanes. Once you stay on this table for a while, other games seem easier. For this reason, I enjoy this title.
Hard disagree, I've seen Space Station in competition play and it's surprisingly fun. Just because it has no inlanes doesn't mean it can't be controlled.
@@MaximilianDevice If you don't like it then you are just not skilled enough to play pinball. It is not perfect but it will learn you to make the proper shots, wich what it is all about in pinball. Don't bother the extra stuff wich the game developer tries to pull, just play the fucking game how it was intended back in the day
I hate that flipper. Every freaking daily mission is with this ashole machine. Sometimes the missions repeat. Don’t know how often I had to do a shit mission with just one ball. Reach 1.5 million with one ball.

Awesome seeing you do proper tutorials!

This is probably the best table at getting you better at ball control. The lack of inlanes make chaos more deadly than most tables.
I’d argue that this table is more likely to make a beginner quit pinball out of frustration than to teach him ball control.

the music. the musiiiic. the musiiiiiiiiiiic (but srs, really, it's fun! I like the gameplay, the sound, the green mode, it's really solid!)
Same. I used to hate it, but now that I realize it's all about control and cradling the ball, I love it. I play a David Bowie themed mod in VPX.
Great tutorial! Thank you.

FX3 is dead, Zen is still doing Williams remakes for Pinball FX.
Just re dock the balls

cool tutorial,
If you can beat this table, you can beat any of the others. I cam’t figure out if I love it or loathe it.
ZEN is doing a great job with the Williams tables (which they took from Farsight), but holy shit they're so slow relasing them

Preferably not this one, but the other Classic Arcade video.
"YOU ARE" showing the tutorial of Theatre of Magic.
Is the stop and score is a nother way to get big points?
This table makes me mad. Playing it in the Williams Pinball game from the Google playstore. They have a challenge to make 2 million within 5 minutes. I haven't even come close.
This is definitely among the worst of tables.....you're the first person I've ever seen break over 2 million on here

I broke 2 million in the David Bowie space station mod on VPX just last night :). Only got 2 multiballs.
Absolutely horrible table. Nothing redeemable about it.
Hard disagree, I've seen Space Station in competition play and it's surprisingly fun. Just because it has no inlanes doesn't mean it can't be controlled.
@@pinballwiz45b It's grown on me every so slightly, still bottom tier in my opinion. It's just a little boring.
The theme is redeemable.
One of the worst table in Pinball FX3. Very annoying, nothing fun.
lies
So why do you play it in 2 of your videos? You are a idiot and you suck at pinball
I hate that stupid machine too. Every stupid daily mission is with this Flipper and just one ball. Why???

This table is the Tetris of pinball. Easy to hate , but sucks you in if you choose to try and figure it out
