    Sadly Gary died on holiday in Spain a few months later and it was almost as if he knew this was to be his last filmed guitar solo. The word genius is too often overused. In a musical sense Gary truly was a genius. Absolute legend. RIP

    Today is the 6th of February the anniversary of Gary's passing after a long illness
    I was privileged to see and hear him for the kadt time not too long before his passing
    He was the best I ever heard or saw play a guitar

    The fact that Gary is making almost every human alive cry when he listens to his songs just shows that he is the greatest guitarist of all time. No one can and no one will ever play with the emotion and feeling that Gary played with. R.I.P Gary, your legacy goes on and on!

    Gary is my fav guitarist ever. The entire song is about a lost love. Therefore the solo is VERY emotional.

    I'm really happy that Gary's sublime talent touched you guys so much. As far as I'm concerned, Gary Moore at his best was untouchable. He wasn't afraid of reinventing himself and the style of music he played. He was an absolute gift to music and guitar fans everywhere.

    Great take guys. His dueling guitar with BB is a great juxtaposition of two legends and the playful way they work together is simply joyous. Even BB was blown away at the end.

    You aren’t “crying”. You’re simply experiencing the music. And that’s one of the greatest gifts that music has to offer. You can be completely fine one minute, and a song hits your soul and you’re wiping away some tears like “wtf just happened to me”.
    If this is hitting that nerve, you may need to Wade deeper into the blues genre. So many great artists to be found in those waters.

    I was lucky enough to see Gary Moore only one time way back in 1983 and he was the opening act for Krokus and Def Leppard, and in my opinion stole the show with his guitar prowess. My best friend and I literally went out the next day and bought his album simply based off of the performance the night before. Amazing guitarist. RIP.

    You are understanding what he’s playing, feeling, and you’re THERE! He makes the guitar cry and makes us, too.     4 months after this concert, Gary died of a heart attack while he was on holiday in Spain. He was 58 years old. The best !

    I saw Gary play so many times over the years that I have genuinely lost count. The guy was a guitar playing genius. I highly recommend The Messiah Will Come Again live in Montreux 1990, Gary's rendition of Jimi's Red House from the Strat Pack concert, Gary and Scott Gorhams live performance of Black Rose, and a live version of Still Got The Blues. All of these are jaw dropping performances. Love your videos guys.

    Great reaction guys! You actually git this hakf way through the sooo in this song, you should check out the Whole sing! Its an ansxing oiece if music and the lyrics are phenomenal! I got to see him on my birthday in London 18months before he died and this song he pkated as well as he ever has.. hebis definitely imat the Top with the ALL TIME GREATEST Rock and Blues Guitarists! ABSOLUTE Legend! Theres just something about London Scotland and Ireland (he's Irish) in the 60s and 70s that PRODUCED THE GREATEST VIRTUOSO musicians the works has ever known! Just phenomenal! London was where they all cane together and it was PHENOMENAL! MY PARENTS grew up and lived in London in the 60s&70s and used to he able to to see the lijes of Cream/Clapton, Hendrix, Peter Green's-Fleetwood Mac, Stones, John Mayal's Blues Breakers, Buddy Guy whrb he was over with Clapton, ALL the GREATS! MUST have been MAD beunb abke to see guys of this calibre every Friday and Saturday night.

    I grew up in the 70's and was fortunate enough to have attended the concerts of many legendary rock bands.
    No other guitarist came close to touching my soul like the guitar of the great Gary Moore. RIP.

    I shot over here from another video which said ol boy cried during Mr. Moore's performance.. I'm so happy to see someone's emotions over take them while listening to a song.. as it's happened to me from time to time... My dear friend I hope you remember this moment forever...as this will keep Mr. Moore alive that much longer. Those notes that hit our ear waves just proves that tones are the way to go. Forget lyrics, even though those can be a deciding factor for some, it's the tones that hit our ear waves... that frequency hits everyone differently, but to me... it shows what kind of heart you have!

    I just wanted to note that even thought this guitar solo is outstanding,... the chord progression and voicings are masterpiece of their own. Let's not forget Phil Lynott who brought this song to life with reminiscent lyrics, inspired by his own father's life. This song is a true gem.

    Gary Moore was the guitarist for the rock band, Thin Lizzy, before he went solo. It’s criminal that Rolling Stones magazine didn’t include him in the “Top 100 Guitarists of All Time” list. His “Ballads and Blues” album is one of my favorite albums of all time. Such a great player. R.I.P Gary Moore. 🔥🎸🤘
