Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

I don’t know why you all find this so offensive, it wasn’t his fault, he fell for a girl in a painting and his crazy grandma had to screw it up
So sultan ahmet was not cruel, he fell in love the girl in painting a long time ago since he became the king, he finds comfort in the painting but he never even wished to have that girl in real
he was in love with the girl from a long time even before when he become the king,( he was in love with the girl since a long ago before becoming a king! but as he became the king)
then her grandmother safiya sultan ordered to bring Anastasia to the palace to present her as a gift to the sultan ahmet! It was never his fault then he only kept her in the palace and after that she tried to escape from the palace but returned back because at that time she was also started to loving him!
Actress Safiye is amazing. She has all the glories queen should has on her face and postures

But he actually loved her, as you can see he never wanted her in real, when safiya kidnapped her and presented her to him, then he kept her in the palace but before that he only used to look at the painting and find comfort and it was love

The thing is i never really thought the story revolved around Kosem till his death. It was always him. Sultan Ahmet Khan.

Each and in every videos people keep talking about how hard it must have been for the women of that time. No one talks about how it was for the men. Take a sultan for example. He was supposed to be wealthiest of his time and all he wanted was his brother he could keep alive. Yeah sure women were treated like property then. But I can't overlooked how men were always bound to something, either as subject to his rulers or as a slave to his throne or his greed to the power. I don't think much changed in our time. We can still go a long way. All we have to do is learn from the past

Yes, I agreed with you. In his life alway witness with cruel relatives try to get powers . When he in that position, no one he cans trusted ever his own mother. He had everything but his heart and his soul were lonely. To find someone that he can trust or love would be a great treasure and precious to care for. He is not the only one in this world.
Things were hard for both men and women in that time, but more so for the women.

Mahmud, his older brother, was probably 15 or 16, and Mustafa who is only around 4 or 5 in the show was actually only a year younger than Ahmet, which is probably why he allowed him to live, the three brothers were supposed to have been very close and cared for each other.
