Wish you hadn't felt so rushed, I feel it, and this was a delicious subject with fabulous details. Hope you make another for Cypress and the same er with more details! Excellent subject and beautiful photo references. Thx!
funnily enough i was stretching the footage we had to breaking point! its one thing when you can just cut to nice landscape-ish shots while you talk but when you need specific details it is far far harder
Like 248, Great impressive footage capturing the beautiful alluring scenery that entice some of the viewers to keep on watching, thanks for sharing and bringing us to this wonderful historical place, stay safe always.
i thought that was highly unlikely - but looking into it... yes! as it happens :) " According to local tradition, the name of the location refers back to 327 AD when Saint Helena, mother of Constantine I, stayed there in a tent (Greek: Tέντα). Helena supposedly pitched her tent after walking up the Vasilikos valley (Greek: Βασιλικός), vasilikos meaning "royal place or land".
Unless this narrator is from Wales he should not comment on what we had here. He did show an image of pentre ifan so 🤞🏻. Mind you not sure i agre with some of his comments
... 'he should not comment on what we had here' ...you're suggesting non-welsh people be forbidden from discussing welsh history everyone on earth, outside of its 3.1 million population must refrain from talking about the history of Wales 🤐🤐🤐 great plan, well thought through 👍not even faintly ridiculous
How more misinformation can you deliver! All through your narrative, you forget to mention one “small” detail: after minoan/mycenean occupation of Cyprus, the island was and is Greek speaking non stop until today. 😁. I sould report you , but maybe later.🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

great summary of Cyprus history and archaeology, but the music is really exasperating!
Small Island...big history !
Insightful as ever! Fascinating stuff
The background music was too much for me, which is a pity as it looks very interesting.
Agreed, too loud and hectic. Should've been more relaxing given the topic.
nobody asked
How could they have?@@12345johnboy
I can’t bear it
Would love a version of this without the music. The rest of the content was so good, but the music hurt my brain so much I couldn’t finish the video.
Really interesting video!
Love the drum and bass!
Good stuff, new sub earned. 80 to go!
👏👏👏

If you're an ancient history buff then Cyprus trumps both Egypt and Athens. Yes it's that good.
What does Tenta mean. Tent?
i thought that was highly unlikely - but looking into it... yes! as it happens :)

Apart from the Turkish Northern part.
@@raynarks if i decide to invade another country, this doesn’t change the history. History is ruthless.
