How much time does it take to get your passport back once visa gets approved? I have my interview on 9th-10th Jan. I am travelling to Thailand on 29th Jan I’m super scared if I don’t get my passport by then.
Don’t worry, You will get it by that time
They Usually say 2 Weeks / 14 Days,
But i have seen mostly it comes within 7 Working days.

I applied for tourist visa when I was on study permit that time I didn’t take my interview and rescheduled my appointment according to that, I put the date of visit in aug 2022 in my DS-160 form.but my interview date in July what should I have to do now and now I am work permit can you suggest me ?

We did not applied for Loan, However even if you apply for Loan
And if they ask who is going to sponsor you.
You can always tell your Parents are going to Sponsor You or its Self funded.

Yes, Ds-2019, Sevis Fee receipt and Passport are very important on interview day
I-94 you get after landing in USA airport.

Thank you so much for your informative video. I have filled the D160 form but have been unable to go for medical examination because I have not been able to book visa biometric and appointment dates. No slots are available, no matter how many times I check. Why are the appointment dates not available at all? What is your experience with booking the appointment dates?
Try To book the appointment during night time if you are India, More chances of Slots available, Make sure you sit for 2-3 hours and Try several times

Hi Mohit, I have one question where I need your suggestion. Is there any communication that we can't travel to US till December 2023 if we have not travel to US in Past in H1B Visa?
There are no such rules that you cant travel to US till DEC 2023, If you have a Valid Visa and the immigration allow you to enter you can anytime enter or exit US in valid visa

Thanks for making this useful content. One question I was not able to retrieve my DS-160 application on which my appointment is booked..hence filled a new application. Can I attach the new application ID to my appointment letter? Can this be done online or during biometric? Please help urgently I have my biometric today
If you have your biometric today, They will surely let you know to update or attach the application its very last movement, Don’t worry even if something went wrong they will ask you to visit the other day.

Hi do I need to give visa interview again? Because my student visa is valid till November 2027. I have completed one year of masters but I am yet to complete my second year and currently I am in india. So when I get a new i20 do I need to give interview again in US embassy???
Students returning to the United States to resume their studies after an authorized temporary absence will not need to renew their visa, if the visa is still valid. The U.S. Department of State’s policy is that a student does not need to apply for a new F-1 visa if the student’s current visa is still valid, regardless of length of time outside the United States.
Therefore, even if your visa has different (previous) SEVIS ID number (starting with N which can be found in your Form I-20), than your new I-20, you are not required to renew it as long as it is valid.
If you have stayed more than 5 months in any country and not in US you need to apply for visa interview again.

Not everything in background information they have, But if they want they can ask or get your information easily…

You don’t need to show, the Consulate have all the details with them. if they have any issue they will ask you for the same thing.

You can select English language appointment and request a translator at the time of your interview, also you can ask them on your Biometrics day

ECR is only applicable for gulf countries and not for US. You can definitely apply for a US visa with an ECR stamp. However, you might have to go through additional checking and formalities before you enter the airport and also at the immigration counter at the airport.

You will receive an Email or Sms also keep checking on the status online. As you know there were holidays in between and Weekend so it might be a reason it is taking time, Don’t worry its 14 working days to get back your passport.
