Presenting a glimpse of a beautiful rendition of Raag Tilak Kamod by Shri. Sudhir Nayak, one of the senior most disciples of Pt. Borkar Guruji.
Shri. Sudhir Nayak is a senior disciple of Borkar Guruji as well has he has learnt under the able guidance of Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki.
Sudhir ji has also composed music and also runs an organization named Kala Coast.
He has accompanied a lot of stalwarts and has received accolades for his melodious yet prompt Sangat on the Harmonium.
He is also taking forward Borkar Guruji's legacy by imparting music lessons to generation next.
This is a recital of Raag Tilak Kamod which was recorded in the prestigious Alladiya Khan Mahotsav (Chembur, Mumbai) in April 2015. he is accompanied on Tabla by Shri. Aneesh Pradhan with his beautiful sangat.
Tilak Kamod is a difficult Raag to play on the harmonium due to the usage of mind (मिंड), but this performance can surely prove that it can be played this efficiently!
