My 10 year old daughter, after training all season on the ice, was complaining that she was getting a "hockey player butt." My wife and I asked if this is actually a thing with the girls on her team, and she said that it is. We said, "Girl, you have worked harder for that butt than most kids work for anything. Be proud of what you have achieved, and never EVER be ashamed of the power and strength and determination that that represents."

Its that she does what she does because she loves the game! And she wants to be the best she can be, and that requires working to be as strong and quick as possible..
If you absolutely love modeling and you wanna work towards being the best you can be at that, thats okay too.... If its what you love, its okay to "conform" or do what it takes to be the absolute best you can be at it..
The NWHL should be so much more popular.

I’ve been skating for 5 years and I’m now 15 and all I want is to be as good as her!! I watch the devils at my rink and ye they’re amazing but I will never be in that team as I’m a girl but that’s fine I can still be on an amazing women’s team and holy moly I’m excited !!!

I agree with her message, but I play hockey with some girls, and it feels bad. Like if you get the puck taken from you, it's like you got beat by a girl, but if you get around a girl, it's like you got around a girl. Either way, it doesn't make you feel good. I'm all for the Woman's league though. Hopefully it grows as well.

She is very cool, am a huge fan. Who knows, someday she might play in a men's pro team? She has extreme skills, great skating ability and a powerful shot, and I'm hopeful the new women's pro league will do well. Go Hilary!
I want to play hockey. I rarely skate on hockey skates or skate at all, but I plan on starting. I am an aggressive person. I want to tell my mom about me wanting to play hockey, but I'm afraid she'll say no because it's a boys sport or you'll get serious injuries. Anyways, I am going to start hockey skating every Saturday during public skate at my local rink.

Not for likes, not for subs, not for comments. Everywhere in the world there is negativity, however there is a solution. Acceptance. Nothing is perfect however we all will get over it. Your body is like a car. You have been given it with no choice or test drive. Look through the metal and glass.
No body shape is perfect no matter how many people like it. As long as you have accepted your body size. Your perfect. Don't let anyone get inside of your head.
That's my advice, anyhow.

i have seen few people as or more in love with the game of hockey than her. you can tell from the smile she gets when she is on the ice, this is what she was born to do. her and spooner are going to be some of the first women to play in the NHL mark my words.
