Good grief, some of the stupid stuff the younger generations go through is self-inflicted 🙄
@@stiixgirl6148The store shouldn't be overcharging her in the first place, that's fucking theft
Always pay attention as the cashier is scanning. Don’t let them start scanning before you get everything on the belt. I was overcharged yesterday and I caught it. I was buying grapes that were $1.99 a pound. The cashier was trying to charge me three dollars.
Even Little Debbie done lost her dang mind!! Before COVID her Honey Buns were 2/$1 ... Now a single Honey Bun is costing $3 - $4 ... I haven't had one since COVID
This has been going on since 2020! It's called, "Robing the customer of their portion they paid for."
Robing the customer sounds pretty nice, actually. Is it a fluffy robe or a silky one? I’d prefer silky, I get hot easily
@@bettygrable6440😂

The reporters saying this is an accident are liars. Can you believe they get paid 250k+ a year to do this lazy work?

Really!
I didn't know that.
They don’t. Reporters get paid crap unless they’re big time

Maybe YOU have grown accustomed to paying more and getting less, but not those who are old enough to remember when America was great.
Grown accustomed too...
Do you mean to say we have no CHOICE? Because its becoming stupid out there.😢
No dude...its that bad...one chip in a bag is really how they feel...they want all our money without them having to give up the products. ..just like renting a one bedroom one bath apartment for $1800 per month...
If rent is that high, maybe it's time to rethink where you live.
@Bigfoothawk rents should not be this high for any US citizen. It shouldn't be a choice of living in a ghetto and having your car broken into vs. Paying 3 times as much for peace
...decent housing and food should be a right not a privilege...especially if you've worked your entire life and pay taxes...in TN..$1800 is the average amount of rent for an apartment where I live, houses for rent is about $2200... tub of butter $7 Pack of chicken wings $19 gallon of gas $3.79
Family pack of chips is $25. A bag of apples $8
...its extortion..
We're getting robbed...
@@Bigfoothawk it's all over the country. In California it's worse it's 2300 for a moldy one bedroom. There's no car break-ins but you got your hand full of asshole neighbors as usual. There's a nice little fitness center and a couple of pools but not many people use them. Tennessee should not have those types of rents. I'm not the one who defaulted on my rent during covid but yet everyone has to pay for those who did
@Kaybaby6668 yeah covid hit hard..I applied for help and they denied me...but all the scammers got approved...charging people this much to live is some nasty work...
@@navybeans17 I believe that these scammers know how to work the system. Awful. Imagine shutting down the country every time someone sneezed. I hope you getting back on your feet somehow

We have not become accustomed to shrinkflation….
The much bigger problem is evident if you take one look at prices of Frito-Lay products in your grocery store. This company has made greed its primary goal. I ain't paying $2.69 for a measly little lunch size bag of chips.
I can think of no worse example of corporate greed in my grocery store then to look at an aisle full of Frito-Lay products. They crowd alternative brands virtually off the shelves. There were no generic potato chips in my safeway.
I will never buy Frito-Lay products again unless they cut their prices by 2/3. I urge everyone to boycott this disgusting greedy company.
We have not become "accustomed" to this, we're pissed about this.
You could call the company, they’ll send a refund and coupons. I’m sure it’s a mechanical error. After a product is bagged, it passes a scale before packaging. Scale may have not bern calibrated correctly. It’s likely a human did not touch this bag of chips in the packaging process, rather automation.
I was looking at old pics in my phone, a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee was 26,000 in 2016 now it’s doubled in price in 8 years. Like HOW😮😮😮 STOP BUYING
While profits from this and similar corporations continue growing. CEO salaries and workers salaries gap continue widening. We will all see retail theft and identify theft to grow.
This is the end stages of cap.
While you’re first statement is true and impactful, people have been saying “this is the end stage of capitalism” forever. Your point is more convincing if you leave off the buzzword phrase.
@@icecream-zi7sc yet people still believe Jesus is coming back.
And that is an even older saying, created before capitalism ever existed.

She felt it was only one chip in the bag that’s why she bought it lol
At the end of the day, whether it's just raising prices on goods or cutting back the amount of goods at the old price, what this really qualifies as is "greedflation".
Bags are easily resealable btw
We should boycott Frito Lay for this.
I totally just stopped buying items like this smh they don’t get my money anymore

Frito lay chips are way over priced, I quit buying them and am healthier as a result..
Gotta stop buying this crap in general
That is a crappy example that makes people who complain about paying more for less look stupud. That example was obvious a malfunction in the factory. That is another problem. Inefficient service.
This is why I don't buy chips anymore. You never get your money's worth.
