Wow, very detailed tutorial. I didn't know about Grow Bounds effect. I also noticed that Radial Fast Blur doesn't react to point position out of layer's bounds, but didn't know it is one of the things that differs it from Radial Blur.
I also have a feeling that CC Radial Blur is usually faster than just Radial Blur and has more options. Idk if there situations when Radial Blur (not CC) is preferable.

Nice! I appreciate the details about putting center point outside bounds and a hint about growing bounds :)

Bro these vids, thank you so much 🙏 now that I have knowledge it's good to find tutorials that explain what the controls do for each effect. So grateful, about to binge all your vids lol.

Extremely helpful Jake! I took your Explainer Camp on School of Motion. Your course is excellent and your explanation is absolutely amazing. In fact, on the Explainer Camp course, you literally explained everything and it was so easy to follow. Thank you for all your work. You are helping a lot of people. Thank you Jake!

CC Radial is so slow it's criminal. Surely Adobe could improve its performance? Thanks for showing us the distinction between these tho!

I wrote a word and then added the cc radial blur effect to it but the Grow Edges didn't work for me. By accident I added the CC composite and it worked there but I don't know why.

Your video is difficult to understand because the image you use is not good enough. Seems you use almost the same image for all of your video.
