Dake was my hero for years! I had no idea he was damn good but against the greats he had ZERO chance. His 11-0 loss in Tokyo crushed me!! When you get teched 11-0 it means you don't even belong on the ame mat!!!! We have GOT to get our wrestlers started in freestyle at a younger age! Dake was one of the best folkstyle wrestlers out there. Even at Cornell he managed 4 NCAA titles!

Everybody knew Dake getting to the Olympics was a FLUKE! Does anyone think Burroughs would have lost 11-0 to a guy that didn't even take gold?!?!?1 What a disappointment! Then again the guys at this level are no joke! Even Burroughs has a hrd time with them and he's better than Dake on his worst day! Dake being help back for a decade probably made a huge difference too. Next time let's send someone that has a chance of bringing back the GOLD!!!

@Belal GZ I never said it was a fluke. Dake is a great athlete - just NOT a great wrestler. Burroughs broken foot and a fractured ankle was a lot worse injury than his camp was willing to share. It impacted his fitness level and his strength He can usually beat Dake - but not easily beat Dake. Dake is a powerful and fit athlete..

@Belal GZ Sorry - Dake can win anything that's out there. But if you don't win OLYMPIC GOLD your not the GOAT! Look at Mayweather the boxer. He lost his Olympic run to an auto mechanic from Bulgaria. He's one of the few decent boxers not to win a gold. Dake just doesn't have it. Don't hate on me because he's just not good enough - hate on him. Olympics is the ONLY real competition where they bring their A game. NOTHING else matters!
