cheers womble, im late to the party with this race, managed to creep in at 9th today in B/S rating but struggled with the aston martin in vr because i’m not used to right hand drive 😂 not quite good enough to race in manual online yet either so gonna have a whirl with the renault in automatic tomorrow 💪 ace content as always bud ✌️
I’m probably going to use the Alfa Romeo 155. A car that not many people will use I feel. But for me it is the perfect gr.4 car that suits my style very well. It incredibly responsive and has amazing brakes (where most of my overtaking takes place in the hard braking zones) and it helped me to get into b class as a driver from daily race b last week
Cheers Womble - I like this track/combo and despite the lack of strat options, there does seem to be a good choice of cars to use as well. Will def be doing this a few times this week.
Seems like not chaning tires or running all but one lap on the softer tire has been the only "strategy" I've been using lately. Like in the GT Sport days when you'd run the entire race on the softs bar for one lap on the hards because you had to... Last week in my high B DR-rated lobbies it was definitely beneficial to pit on lap one for mediums and try a massive undercut, I think I lost maybe 2 tenths on the last lap compared to my fastest lap...
Yep...thats you noticing the flaw in the current tyrewear model. There's no crossover between the tyre compounds to make the "harder" compound useful beyond a couple of laps.
@@wombleleaderracing6455 The weird part in my lobbies is that people are driving for like half the race on the harder compound... So even though I started in the back half of the grid I could start on the mediums and simply overtake with the tyre advantage and then go long and let people fight.. So purely on strategy I moved from 10th to podium...
Even in the higher splits there's a lot of people not quite understanding the tyrewear model especially at the beginning of the week and running to many laps on the harder compound before they see what other people are doing....good races for your DR im guessing.
Cheers for that - always impressed how quickly you get these videos out on a Monday morning - you must be editing like a mad man for an hour 👍
Appreciate that Mark....guess I have it down to a fine art now since iv done that many of these guides.

Well hope its working....im thinking it probably lacks the top end for this track.

Yeah it seems a decent race. Tyres wear enough to be a factor and choice of cars....I can work with that!
cheers mate. Great tips once again. Much appreciated.
Cheers Womble 😊
Like deployed 👍

Death chicane.....no you're not a coward. Like me, you merely have an acute & heightened sense of self preservation.......
Well thats definitely a diplomatic way to put it lol

Thank you Womble:)
Awesome video mate 👍 and yes gr4 aston is V8 and gr3 V12 😊
Cheers Ozi appreciate that....normally I get mixed up with vantage and vanquish not v8 or v12 lol
Womble's livery seal of approval. Stunned
Your right that was way to complimentary....il redress the balance next time 😆
🤣 I feel like I need to up the garishness to help restore normality
I refrained from slagging your livery today incase you took me out.....oh wait 😆 🤣 😂
🤣 I rechecked the stream, you definitely said 'ngl, I do it for the content' just as the race was starting......so.....you're welcome 😜
What suspension adjustments have you made? Can’t find anyones setup online
Most people are going 20/20 50/50 on the dampening....anti roll bars are more varied. I use 9/3 on the Lambo
Disappointed you backed out side by side through the death chicane.
Could have been a moment if glory
I can barely get through there by myself let alone side by side lol....I like a gamble now and then but not 99.9% chance of death!!
