I think this actual player build is the Randall Cunningham build, early 2nd round qb with elite speed and Cunningham was 6’4 212
i was thinking maybe cam newton at 6'5" and the prospect shit pushed him down or something

I think the reason he didn't feel as fast as you expect is because he's 6'5. I have basically the exact same player and he's 6'3 and feels extremely fast

Hey bengal, I just did a Texans rebuild and noticed something interesting. I was only about a year or two in when I saw that my offense ranked 1st in the league in points and my defense was 2nd in points against. Rush yards was top5, pass yards top 20, pass yards allowed top 5 rush D top 20. Didn’t do anything too crazy to the roster either, but wanted to let you know that maybe the Texans playbook has something sneaky going on. That or my rng is nuts

any playbook that had a mobile QB in the previous season will get the QB decent rushing yards. PHI and BAL get the most in my experience but ATL and CLE can be good too
ATL playbook is a cheat code with Lamar. In my franchise he won 3 mvp in a row with them and had a couple super bowls as well.
I’ve used AZ a lot and it’s been solid

It's odd how quickly QBs regress, considering how old Rodgers, Brady, Manning, etc. Have all played and madden wasn't dropping their development traits.

Honestly I think you're right. In my current Bears franchise the Bills QB threw for back to back seasons with 5700+ yards. He's only an 86 Overall Star Dev and his weapons aren't even that crazy he's got an older Stefon Diggs and two Auto Gen guys that are good not great.

I just got a 96 speed 96 throw power qb and then a 99 speed 99 jumping wr in back to back drafts it was insane i also saw the cpu draft a generational rb i have never seen so many generationals in one franchise

I hope you see this Bengal - In the super bowl vs the Bills, when they intercepted at 51:55, that was the Bills possession opportunity in OT. That means both teams had possessed the ball and the next score wins the game. Meaning when we got the QB sneak TD, the game should have ended in a Cowboys win.
For commenters - this is not about the KC rule where in the playoffs touchdowns don’t automatically win the game. Bengal could have kicked a field goal on that drive and it should have ended things.

i used the cardinals playbook in a texans rebuild with caleb williams at qb. didn’t sim but it was really fun
So serious question with the first SB he did against the Bills. Wouldn’t technically the bills had a possession upon intersecting the ball in OT? I would had thought after they fumbled the INT that his TD would had won the game.
Madden probably has it wrong in their code, unless there is a specific rule I’m not finding, the inception and fumble would reset possession for the offense given them a 1 and 10 if downed while given the defense possession in between.
i used phillys playbook for a bryce young rebuild on the raiders , and threw for over 4500 yards consistently and rushed for 700 yards all but one season ( played 19 btw ) . i also used the spread offense so that does help quite a bit

Are you sure generational players only happen in madden 23? I still play madden 18 and I just drafted a 86 overall qb who had superstar development. I simmed the first year and he was a 91 by the end of it. That sounds like a generational player to me
I’m only through 1 season of you using Baltimores playbook, but I’m fairly certain rushing production has a direct correlation with overall. I ran a season in their playbook with Kadarius Toney at QB (27 overall) for shits and giggles and he ran for a couple hundred yards on abhorrently bad efficiency. Lamar is the only QB I’ve ever seen run good in that playbook and I think it’s because he almost always ends up a 99 overall

Does the free form mechanic actually work in franchise mode. I’ve tried to use it multiple times and it just really affects my quarterback negatively. It always ends up being a poor accuracy pass or just not work, also doesn’t let me throw lob passes anymore.
