all of the castings are great comes with nice tampos & details, but the porsche ground clrearance is too high imo, and unfortunatley not a single casting with metal base ?!
Yeah I would rather get a ultra hot for the same price
Not enough profit margin to have metal bases for the first two Neon Speeders sets with Mattel paying licence fees to 12+ trademarks and the new wheel design.
For this set, there's a new wheel *size* requiring a separate casting mould. As to the number of trademarks I couldn't spot them clearly from the card back this time
@@Chris_Hood make sense, some of them comes with wide bodykit & glow in the dark feature so I think it's enough for this set, also glad to know that there is no "chase" gimmick so the scalpers won't hard for this set for sure.

I like them all but the Challenger and vette is the best looking ones

@@williamwilkinson6665 they are so overrated that people are always hyped for them than other american or european cars and even hypercars plus they are always considered the best casting in every mainlines even tho some of them are messed up.

@@cayenneporschetThis, tbh. What i really dislike about the current car culture is that if its not a JDM, you are automatically inferior to anyone else, like, theres more to cars than just JDM. The overhype is and should have been long gone. Appreciate other car models, and the ones that are trying their best to not fall into this trap of a trend. That's why I love the RLC Pagani Huayra R so much. It is definitely Mattel's best model IMO and much more appealing than the 10th skyline r34

The only ones I need are the porsche and dodge challenger and my set will be complete. This will probably be a set that I want to keep forever because all the cars look awesome and they really fit with the theme. Everyone wants the Porsche, my favorite is the Mercedes AMG

Pretty nice assortment of castings, Neon Speeders is a fun series. Not a fan of the new wheel design though, they just look really cheap and boring even compared to older mainline wheels.
This series burnt out on me real quick. The first one was the best one for me. This one is much better than the previous one. better cars, better colors. Loving The Hellcat.

No one can complain about the mix of castings chosen for this mix 🤩 All winners here!
There appears to be a departure from the geometric vinyl wrap look on a few cars, compared to earlier NS sets, BUT this time we have 10mm wheels where appropriate, finally! Mattel finally invested in another size wheel mould for the series, the sales must have been strong enough so far.
Higher retail price be damned, it won't stop me if I find these in the wild 💯😎🏁
yeah, and so far the best mix of neon speeders especially because no jdms, just some things that deserves more love like the mclarens or smth

I wonder why they didn't include metal base on Neon series
For the previous two sets it was the large number of licenced trademarks used for the set, 12 in Mix 1, 13 in Mix 2. Sorry couldn't see the back of the card this time to count. Licence fees and a new wheel mould were already eating into the profits so, no metal bases.
