I don’t know where this guys skis, but late February is hardly the “end of the season” in snow country, no matter if you’re in Vermont, Colorado or the Alps!

There is sooo much competition among ski manufacturers and all of them hype up the marketing to pull in sales….like most all competitive markets. I have skied on used skis for most of my 60 years on the mountain, all of my skis are used after the first run on them. I buy according to my research and my knowledge of how I ski and where I ski, then when I see a great price on a contender I buy.
The best investment in enjoying your skiing experience is developing proper ski technique and maintaining well tuned equipment. Study, study, and study some more.

Bought a brand new pair of 2022 K2 Disruption 78 Ti with bindings for $440 Cdn ($ 326 USD) last week. Only difference between the 2022 vs 2023 or 2024 is just the top sheet graphics which sell for $949 before tax. If you know the pair of ski's you want are a previous year and only difference is the top sheet then always get the older model.
