The battleplan music is arcade perfect on PS1 and UMK3 on Saturn.. If anything its better as its in stereo rather than the mono arcade.
The bass is completely lost, it's not the same. I have the real arcade machines, you can refer to my arcade tour videos. The impact and punch of the arcade is completely lost on PS1 and Saturn. But hey if you like that thin sound, then that's all you man. For me, it's something I heard in the distance every time I walked up to my local Arcade back in 95'. It's pretty important to me, regardless if it's mono or not. 🍻
@@RiddictRight, it's bassy on the arcade and almost loops. On PS1 its like 2 seconds long before it shuts off for loading.
I was God at MK games back between 96-99. Would play against my sisters friends who were 5yrs older than me. Only 1 of her friends I couldn't beat but he taught me all the combos.
i still go to the mall that i went to as a kid. its kinda sad when i see the spot that once was an arcade...
pretty sure i didnt know about any of the differences between snes and genesis back then. my snes exposure was super limited. im thinking all i had was super mario world and wildsnake.
This was my first MK. I made a video about it. I actually prefer this one over the arcade simply based on nostalgia I believe. Your playthrough was honest, that's what happened 75% of the time lol. Awesome video 👊

Something ive noticed especially in mks snes is it sounds muffled, where the Genesis version sounded scratchy (voices).
This particular port always made me feel like I had never actually sunk hundreds of quarters into the arcade machines for several months leading up the console release...
Very poorly programmed seeing as to how this game did not sustain itself on quarters...
Suffice to say, I watched Cyrax's story-ending more times than I care to admit.
You and me both lol. I did eventually switch to Sub-Zero to beat it (arcade that is) but yes, it was only a quarter muncher if you were out on the weekends with the crowds around the machines. Single player was not a strong point as far as quarters spent.
MK3 on the PS1 is by far the best version 😊😀😎.
