Thx so much for your content, I'm looking to get back in the industry. I've been out for a while and I still have a few more things I need to do, before I'm ready! I'm not trying to get with a company anymore, and I'm interested in Hotshot delivery. I saw from the video that hooking up with a dispatcher is a good way to go starting out! As a Hotshot driver, what kind of insurance do I need starting out? My license was suspended for quite some time, and I lost them for a DUI and charge. How will this affect me with insurance. Do know how far back DAC is allowed to go in their reports?

Hi 🙋🏻♀️ how do you go about finding shippers? If I was to look at a DAT board can I book those loads myself or I would have to pay for them?
You can book loads yourself as long as all your paperwork is right
Does that $1500 include fuel?
honestly i prefer to use a broker over a shipper, simply due to the fact that a shipper may use 3,4,5 or 50 brokers. if the broker messes up the paperwork and the shipper cuts them from their freight ill go find one of the other brokers to get it. if i mess up the paperwork, via shortages, overages or a driver decides to dip mid transit with product i can never run that product again at that awesome rate that i built my company around. 300 dollars per load is a lot especially if your running 20 per week on a dedicated lane. but using a broker allows us to just drive. no bs from the shipper.

They basically pay you same day with a fee of course oppose to u waiting 30 plus days to get paid
